  1. Angelica is finally finished. I went back to my WIP thread, and I realized I started her over a year ago. She has been sitting on my desk waiting to be based for a while now. I decided to go with a relatively simple base. I really enjoyed painter her up.. I hope you enjoy seeing her finished up. I certainly do. Thanks for looking and any C&C you feel to give.
  2. This is probably the reason I don't finish miniatures to quickly. I decided to begin prepping up a figure from another KS I backed. The 3 figures in this pack are in parts and rather fragile pieces. I also had to look at the photo to see which pieces and how I'm going to have to put them together. Here is a shot of Angelica - the Half-Elf Warrior in pieces.
  3. Kirin the Heretic from Reaper's Pathfinder Miniatures Range. I painted this a while ago but forgot to post it.
  4. This is a PC (oracle, half-elf) from a campaign we finished last November. I altered (made less "poofy") her hair and changed out the top of her staff. Not happy at all with the face but this is the Bones version and it was slightly miscast/wonky. I was quite happy with the gradient on her robes which doesn't show that well here. Table Top quality, but I do take a bit longer on PC models. Phone pics suck, sorry.
  5. Another mini completed for February. This is a mini I have been intending to paint since the new year for a friend's character and have procrastinated getting him done. So finally I sat down and put some paint to him. I present to you Gaius the Half Elf Rogue of Cel'Romus. As I am working on completing more minis I tried to strike a balance of making him look good for the tabletop while not putting in so much time that I wince every time one of our players knock him prone or sweep him to the side of the table among a group of minis. Overall I am happy with him and since he will be making his debut on the game table tomorrow I hope my gaming group likes him too.
  6. Hello all! To you I present this fine sculpt by Tre Manor, going by name of Dilean Softstep but used as a base for ub3r_n3rd's elf character. Mod job to make it similar to ub3r's description included cutting out the blades and crafting plasticard "kukris" curved blades; sculpting an eye-patch and horsetail. Paintjob is an attempt at the brushes by yours truly, trying to keep to the topic of a nature rogue... on a roof. Since the mini was intended for play, I designed a small diorama-vignette where the actual 25mm square base could be placed, with the intention of making it non-obvious while in place. Base is carved foam, cardboard and some bits of wood. Hanging bat is leftover putty; hook is small wire bended and glued, rope is actual cotton thread. I tried to do a design that was a slice of reality, and thought the "open" chimney space was a cool idea... in retrospective, I don't think it works as intended. As always, many things did not go according to plan or desire, but I am still happy of the outcome and how much I learnt from the piece. In the end, I hope it is displayed proudly by ub3r as a token of friendship, and that this rogue rolls true in his Pathfinder games! C&C welcomed, as usual! Now for some cell phone photos taken before the trip from Argentina to the USA... Closeup of the arm tattoo: Detached mini: Base without the mini: Mini secured for travel:
