  1. After a lot happened to me in this last months, I finally finished one painting job, 3197: Thelgar Halfblood, Half Orc Barbarian sculpted by John Manor. His colors were picked by my son, after all this miniature is his character in our game. Can´t photograph good enough to get the colors right (we don´t have milk jugs here in the south hemisphere, and the light box I created clearly isn´t working), but the image that he is standing in the cutting mat is the "close enough" to post here. Please critiques are welcome (and now that is finished I can see the crazy eyes job I did... )
  2. Lathula, Female Barbarian, Reaper 03019, sculpted by Ben Siens, painted by me. I like half-orcs. They always seem to be painted with black hair, but I figured since orcs don't have hair it would be the human parent who provides the hair color. So why not a redhead? I didn't paint her hair shiny, though, because it kind of looks greased up and pulled back. I used this figure in my tutorial on how to paint illusionistic grass.
  3. This is a fun sculpt by Ben Siens. She's a half orc, maybe a little grotesque but not completely unattractive. I'm actually pretty far along on her. I had a whole day (luxury!) to paint minis last week and got a good start on her, along with some other fun stuff. So all her base coats are done. I painted the arms separately and have only just glued her together. She is glued to a fender washer as a base, as she is a little front-heavy and her regular base is a little narrow front-to-back.
