  1. Gina from Hasslefree Miniatures. I'm cleaning out some of the backlog. The figure didn't get all of the attention it deserves but I'm still happy with the result.
  2. Rae from Hasslefree Miniatures. I'm cleaning out some of the backlog and rushed this one somewhat. It resulted in some sloppy blacklining but overall I'm happy with the result.
  3. Felicity from Hasslefree Miniatures. I'm really happy with how she turned out. If I ever play in a zombie apocalypse game this will be my character. I might have gone abit overboard with the blood on the bat. That could use some more attention.
  4. This was my Fantasy Single entry for the painting contest at Gamex this past weekend in Los Angeles. I am happy with how she turned out after stressing about what colors to paint her and having issues with pinning her arm on. So imagine my surprise when I found out that she took first place. Any input would be appreciated.
  5. Presented this week are Hasslefree's William (or not-Spike), along with a couple more BattleTech goodies. As always, thoughts, opinions, and thrown halloween candy welcome. Hasslefree - William FWL 1st Regulan Hussars - Mad Cat IV Wolf-in-Exile Omega - Mad Cat LC 5th Lyran Guards - Bombardier
  6. I'm sure most of you have hear the story of what happened to long-time sculptor Kev Adams, For those who haven't, he was brutally attacked during a home invasion back in March. The top sculptors in the industry got together to do a line of Goblins (which Kev was best known for), produced by Ral Partha Europe, with the proceeds from the sales going to help cover Kev's medical expenses. This Cricketer was sculted by Kev White of Hasslefree fame. Linked due to NSFW content: http://www.myrnnyx.com/ralpartha/ga12.jpg
  7. Here is a pretty quick paintjob of the old couple from Hasslefree. Since they will be villagers in any tabletop game we play, they only got my tabletop standard paintjob. The cat is from the crazy cat lady set I think.
  8. So whilst I am waiting for my Bones to arrive I have plenty of little (and big) projects I want to get out of the way. I'm glad to say that this is one of them and its the first project I have finished all year so far. The D&D game I run is pretty huge and we have over a dozen or so players who drop in and out as their schedules permit. I have been trying to put together appropriate figs for all the PC's for some time and I finally have them all finished as of yesterday. Its been a long job, but here they are, apologies for lots of not great pics)... Creosus the Cleric and Symeon the Bard (Heresy and Hasslfree figs) Crest Morningtide - Water Genasi Warlord and Hertha - Satyr Druid (Crocodile games and Heresy) Brimstone the Dwarven Shaman and Yaskin the Goblin Rogue (old Citadel and very very old Citadel) Miles Arcana - Swordmage and Meavoi - Goliath Warden (GW and Heresy) Mya - Sorceress and Kiera - Rogue (Heresy & Hasslefree) Unsung - Warforged Warlock (converted from an Infinity Pan Oceana Knight with some old bits to make the rod) Broadsword - Warforged fighter (converted from a Mageknight steam golem and some old broken troll bits) Brug Gundersson - Half Orc Barbarian (kitbashed from GW bits) Three-Point-Five - Warforged Artificer (kitbashed from a Mierce Miniatures Magaan the Warlock that my daughter managed to hit from the other side of the garden with a tennis ball and it exploded and a raid of my bits box) And finally Dahlgren - Human Barbarian (Privateer Press) Next up to finish off the Heroes for my Super Dungeon Explore and assemble the Grenadier Spectral Dragon. Hopefully that won't take 6 months
  9. This mini is tiny. She's a little girl on a 15mm base. I loved the spooky gas mask look on the little kid with the British school uniform. I tried to paint the base like asphalt, like I did with the Hasslefree vampire figure Dionne. The chief difference is this girl has a shadow where the vampire figure didn't. EDIT: 15mm, not half an inch. Still tiny.
  10. So in Hasslefree Miniatures' newest newsletter http://email.acid-product.co.uk/t/ViewEmail/y/0FBD30D4EECA4F06/064C2BC9F7BC47D225D77A725F39070E scroll down and you will see two new figures, Rennie and Tilda, female Gauls. Sink me if they are not gender-swapped versions of Astérix and Obelix the Gauls, from the French comic series. Rennie is short and bold with huge wings on her helmet. And Tilda -- ah, bless Kev and his sculpting skills -- is a tall, muscly, well padded lass with a huge hammer and cute little horns on her helmet. They are both cute, but Tilda in particular is one of those difficult-to-find figures, the big, plump, strong female warrior.
