  1. These two were made out of hot glue and given a quick paintjob by my sister and me. I like how they look and I made 4x medium and 8x small ones the same way. Will post them too when painted If you like these! :D Next to a reaper bones orc: Before the paintjob:
  2. Our Own Glitterwolf posted a photo in my Last Hurrah Thread: I loved it. I knew I would have to make a version of my own (there were some liberties taken...a lot of liberties). Once more I had the base all ready for her...or some other hapless miniature. AND here is the result: There you go.
  3. I have been planning a few ore photo stages. The Trio of Trees will be movable props, & character actors in the cast. They will eventually appear in somewhat fancier surroundings, but for their first presentation, they are seen here on my work table: The Philosopher or Idiot...take your pick: The Conversation, Monk & Tree: AND the Group Portrait: ...if you go out in the Woods today, you're in for a big surprise.
  4. I'm thinking of purchasing a Hot Glue Gun and wanted to know if anyone had recommendations and why you like a particular one. Thank you! ~Devin
  5. SO I had these two twigs mounted & primed for ages...well awhile at any rate. Since I did up a Tree with Attitude for a Fellow D.M. Craft Forumite, I thought I'd give the twigs the treatment: Seen here on my Work Table, a once around The Trees: ...now to the closeups: ...the Hermit (Dark Hold Minion), all 10 mm of him: ...AND a couple of photos by the Witches' Shanty Town: The Twins will probably be used as foreground pieces in a Spooky Woodland photo background thingy I'm planning. Hopefully, you'll be seeing more of the Lads/Whatever.
  6. Time for a critter that seems a staple of the Call of Cthulhu game. Amusingly, most of the depictions, including the Grenadier and RAFM sculpts of the creature ignore the "grotesquely great clawed appendages" line. I'll keep with this tradition since I think not having limbs keeps the creature more "otherworldy". Took a coated copper wire and started wrapping newspaper around it. The wire will let me shape the critter as I want later. Used masking tape to make a skin to bind the newspaper. Measured more wire to make the wing base Drilled through the body and ran the wire through
  7. After seeing this video, I started work on some worms. Here is the first one in all it's slimy glory. On the short side for ease of storage. Base is a 2" metal washer but it is hard to notice. Dwarf on 25mm base (D&D Miniatures War Drums #14 Warpriest of Moradin) for size comparison. The Grid is actually a Go board, so it isn't a 1" grid. Colour is kinda off in this pic, but here is a good size comparison. Rotation of the worm. Camera isn't good at video.
