  1. Hello All, Here are photos of a 03931 Dark Heaven Legends "Alena Frostblade, Human Female Barbarian" I completed recently. Thank you for looking.
  2. Since I wasn't on here in 2021/2022... I wanted to post some of my favorite NMM minis. I took Almaran with me to ReaperCon last year- he ended up not being the one judged, but that's OK- I took him for some good ol' fashioned critique afterwards. And yeah, 2023 is going to be the year of "make an attempt with your bases, you dork".
  3. A couple of quick paint jobs done to get these guys ready for the table. The wizard may have been a Reapercon speed paint re-paint. They way they ended up posed facing each other makes me think they're saying "Have a good weekend, see ya back in the dungeon on Monday."
  4. One of many figures I painted this year, but haven't posted in show-off. I picked this up at Reapercon. She's surprisingly light on details, compared to many Reaper figures.
  5. A project mostly done just to get painting, so it's far from perfect and I didn't take time to blend it out at all. Focus was on playing with some OSL and then I decided to try sculpting a base, so this is a huge step forward despite the lack of blending on it. Unfortunately, I used some liners to give character to the stone and haven't sealed the mini, so it's pretty shiny along the walls and you can't see any of the subtlety there. I'll hit it with dullcote and see if I can get better pics and update this post later, if so. And though my intention was to not blend, I /may/ go back and do just a minor blend pass on the blue OSL highlight on the wall because that's bugging me :) Hope you enjoy! WIP here
  6. Hello All, Here is a 07068 Bones USA Dungeon Dwellers "Landol Griswold, Human Wizard" I completed a few days ago. Thank you for looking.
  7. Hello All, Here is a 02476 Dark Heaven Legends. "Lorna, The Huntress Human Barbarian" miniature I completed today. There was a small problem with the molding on her face. The bottom lip and chin were nearly not there. Make do with what I get. Thank you for looking.
  8. Hello All, Here is a Dark Heaven Bones 77086 Townsfolk: "Strumpet" I completed a few days ago. Thank you for looking.
  9. Hello All, Here is metal 03837 "Kenrik Thistlemoor, Wizard" I completed last January. Thank you for looking.
  10. Hello All, Here is a 02370 metal Dark Heaven Legends "Luther Baldwin, Templar Knight" I completed yesterday. Thank you for looking.
  11. Hello All, Here is a Bones Plastic 77467 "Rheagar, Male Fighter" miniature I completed last January. When I first started on this miniature it reminded me of a character from a certain 80's animated series that I enjoyed. I think it was the armor and shield that gave me that impression. So, I decided to paint it to match this character. My thought was that this is that character all grown up and having returned to the Realm. But after painting it, the face and hair reminded me more of two actors. Shemp from the 3 Stooges and Jon Bernthal from The Walking Dead and Punisher series. Thank you for looking.
  12. Hello All, Here is a Bones plastic 77736 "Ankoa, Barbarian Hero" I completed last January. Thank you for looking.
  13. This mini is from Wrath of Ashardalon boardgame. It was a quick and simple paintjob since the sculpt itself is quite simple. Thanks for looking!
  14. I really like this sculpt! Gave her a quick paintjob 🙂 Thanks for looking!
  15. I wanted an orange wizard and now I've got one! Thanks for looking!
  16. Hello All, Here is a 77322 Human Female Ranger, Kassandra I completed a few months ago. Thank you for looking.
  17. Hello All, Here is a recently completed 77054 "Galladon, Human Wizard". I did have to make changes to the staff. I could not straighten it out by any means to my satisfaction. So, I cut off the original staff, drilled a hole in his hand and replaced the Bones bendy plastic staff with a brass rod. I cut off the bottom and top of the plastic staff, pinned the parts to the brass rod and there you go. Thank you for looking.
  18. Hello All, Here is one of my recent works. 89032 Pathfinder Bones "Anti Paladin" I wanted it to look like the shield was a living thing or a possessed item. Thank you for looking.
  19. Hello All, Here is a metal 04088 Erebus Nalas, Evil Sorcerer miniature I completed last week.
  20. Hi folks! Today I started painting #03836 "Jakob Janssen, Monk" for our friend Jakob. Sending him some good vibes during this time and excited to finish this and ship it his way! I started with skintones and I'm currently working on painting him with a big ol' George Clooney smile I want to finalize my color scheme but I'm really struggling! Many great painters have already posted photos of their version of this mini and I want to do something different than what's already been done. Here are the three I'm considering: The traditional Shaolin monk color scheme Iron Fist (Marvel) color scheme? (green & yellow) Halfling Monk (Pathfinder) color scheme? (green, red/orange, yellow with freehand insanity) Others?? HALP! The more options I research, the less decisive I get. Going to check back in tonight to see what folks think since I'll need to decide before my livestream tomorrow morning. At the end of the day, no matter what color scheme I choose, I'll do my absolute best to make sure it's something that will hopefully bring @JakobJanssen some creative joy I'll check back in soon. Thanks in advance for your thoughts & suggestions!! --Mocha
  21. So this is the first time I tried painting freehand on the shield This is the end result of the conversion: And for the conversion part, I didn't like neither this minis pose, nor its weapon choice (pickaxe really???), nor its commie looking (???) sigil on the shield. So I removed the weapon and sanded the shield. I also think that his pose looks a lot more natural as a spear throw than a pickaxe swing.. Also gave him some simple terrain and a quick paint Thanks for looking!
  22. This is one of the heroes from legend of drizzt board game. I gave him simple terrain and a super quick speedpaint. I like how he turned out. Thanks for looking
  23. A figure I started on november 2018 but never finished. Since I plan to finish way more miniatures in 2019, I thought this was good low hanging fruit. It's a cool sculpt from Hasslefree Miniatures kickstarter.
  24. I've just finished this one, it's a pc friend is using in our dnd campaign. He bought the stl file from hero forge and then had it 3d printed. Originaly he wanted a darker palette, but during the painting I just hade to make some colors pop. In the end he really liked it :D There's also a WIP thread here
