  1. A couple of satifying quick paints for the table. 2 more dreadwolves for my pack and a wizkid imp with way more mould lines than I wanted to remove. They went quickly (less than an hour) and look good on the table - a refreshing bang for the buck for once. Are the masterpieces, Noooo... Are they better than white unpainted minis, Yes!
  2. These guys are really tiny, from back in the days when the word "miniature" really meant something. They are based on 0.5" washers.
  3. This is the Wizard from Grenadier’s Wizards box set circa 1980. Most of the minis from the set were called variations like Sorcerer, Illusionist, Magician, and Warlock. But there are also 2 druids and a cleric included. I painted all the minis from the set in my teens, then wanted to repaint them in my early 20’s so I had my friend sandblast(!) the paint off. That eroded much of the detail. So the detail in the beard, hands, imp, is almost all painted in.
  4. These are 3 little imps/demons that I pulled off the melt table at Reapercon last year. I'm not sure of manufacturer, so if you recognize them, please let me know. I think they may be from a 15mm figure range. I bashed these guys out over he course of a couple evenings about a week ago. Thanks for looking. With (in need of a touch up) Sir Forscale:
  5. A little while ago I purchased Hasslefree's "Fairies Wear Boots" piece. The Gothic Punk like Fairy stomps on candy. Now I kept thinking that it would be fun to have her chasing little Imps and stomp those into the ground. So I got me some little familairs and stuff from Reaper. Then Malefacus ( Al) send me a wonderful Mushroom he sculpted. To top things off, Knarthex ( George) send me some stuff including a nice oval wooden plinth. Thinking about it all, I realised I now have the ingredients to start on this piece. The Idea
  6. Digging my way slowly through my Unpainted Bones, and remembered I had theae hordelings. The third member of the group was the first mini O painted from this Kickstarter: Mike Wazowski!
  7. This little guy is from the Hell Dorado game. I'm not sure what he's supposed to be; I couldn't find him anywhere, I guess he's OOP. Anyway, I figure that he makes a pretty good goblin/imp/familiar. What do you think? Uh....blue goblin...Buglips isn't gonna be happy about this...
  8. With my old combined Reaper WIP thread rendered useless by Imageshacks ineptitude, I've decided to resurrect it as a series (hopefully!) of single WIPs. Starting with the Diabolist:- I've done the skin:- Based with my new Vallejo Elf Flesh, Flesh Shade Wash and highlights of Elf Flesh and 1:1 Elf Flesh/Off-White. I also mixed a drop of Vallejo Hexed Lichen into the final highlight mix for a touch of lipstick and eye-shadow (she also has teeny tiny Vallejo Wolf Grey eyes). Also did her hair:- Based with LED Blue and then washed with GW Gulliman Blue Glaze. I
  9. And two of the familiars. The others are used for the fairy princess pieces I posted earlier.
