So, I have just finished with the prep for Mr. Dodgeson from the Infamy Collectables KS. I loved the vibe from him. He's my first 54mm model...so please, make comments! I'd love constructive criticism, as always. He's also my first resin piece, and I haven't primed him yet because I don't know whether or not I should. Just finished the base, so I'm going to let that harden and dry before I get started with the painting.

So I have been working on this guy since the middle of April, and finished his base and final assembly tonight, So I give you The Hobgoblin Cheiftain & Death Chicken! I am taking many pictures to try and find flaws, as well as to solicit opinions as to the best way / angle / composition because Infamy miniatures is holding a painting contest for this figure, and I can only send them 6 pics. (PS if you have this mini, just entering the contest will net you a store voucher of 10 GBP! Entries by 30 June) I will likely post more pics when I get a better idea of what to do.... Thanks for looking, and critiquing! Special Thanks to those that followed along in the WiP, as well as the Hangouts for all the encouragement and suggestions! George

I finally managed to gather up the courage to assemble and paint one of the Infamy "Welcome to the Big Smoke" kick starter minis. These are small highly detailed resin sculpts that have a lot of fiddly intricate parts and detail. Please fell free to comment. now for what you all want the pictures! My photography skills are limited so apologies for the occasional out of focus pic. This was after a mat spray but it looks like he needs another. I have not based him yet as I am trying to come up with a nice one... any suggestions will be taken into consideration.

The Death Chicken Commences! I had a little time tonight, so I continued with Infamy Mini's One Shot Goblin Chieftain. First off, He is a big boy, so I am going to think of him as a Hobgoblin, instead of a goblin. (Sorry Buglips) He will have Orange skin, as all my Hobgoblins do... Secondly, this resin is very different from the other resin minis I have worked with, much softer and more flexible than the Forge World Iron Warriors Dreadnought I built, or Battlefront's resin vehicle bodies... It is Fragile as Hades! Ias I was slowly sawing the chicken's lower jaw off the sprue with an X Acto saw, I broke one of the spikes where the reins attach.... 5 minutes of unholy speech, and crawling around the floor rewarded me with the piece, which I carefully glued back into place... I fear for the attachment of this figure to a base! The only point touching the ground is it's right foot, and the shape of it's ankle / foot /leg precludes driving a pin up the length of it's leg. I may have to re-think that, and drill the hole anyway and hide the wire so I have a semi sturdy attachment point... Thoughts ideas anyone? As a temporary solution for painting, I drilled a hole in it's belly for a wire to support it whilst paint is applied... Parts fit so far has been good, after removing sprue attachments etc. Left leg and Lower jaw... Still lots to assemble, next will be the 'wings'... This will definitely be a paint the rider separately job, and the way he attaches to the bird, he may get a wire for me to hide between his bum and the saddle, as the only attachment points there are the insides of his shins, and the straps of the reins.... Here is a scan of the Artwork that came with the KS: The mini follows the art almost exactly... And 2 pics of the Death Chicken so far: Little bit of gap filling to do... George

I have just completed my second mini from Infamy's "the Big Smoke" kickstarter and I must say this one was a bit of a challenge for me. I am not used to handling the resin miniatures and I kept breaking off little pieces as I was handling the big guy! There are a lot of small fragile pieces on this one! I based him on a post industrial ruin as per the "Big Smoke" setting for the game from Infamy. Enjoy and feel free to comment or through things Thanks for looking

I just completed one of the Infamy Big Smoke miniatures from their KS... so here he is Tesla I could not get a good focus on it with the camera or lights for some reason, so he is shown with just normal dim room light. Comments critiques.. rotten fruit.. all are welcome
