  1. NOTE: If you are not a Knoxville resident but travel here on occasion and would be interested in sitting in on a paint day, let me know when you’re going to be in town and I’ll do my best to try and schedule a session you could attend. Knoxville Area Miniature Painters invites you to the summer dates of its free miniature painting days! Where: Level Up Games on Kingston Pike (http://levelupknox.com/knox.html for address and directions) When: Saturday, June 28th, from 1pm to 6pm Saturday July 19th from 1pm to 6pm Saturday August 30th from 1pm to 6pm Paint days are a way for miniature painters to share tips and tricks, get feedback on our painting, and have fun hanging out with others who enjoy the hobby. Painters of all levels and genres are welcome! All you need is a miniature or three to work on, and some brushes. Paints and other supplies are available for use, but you are also welcome to bring your own. I also have a small selection of brushes and figures available to allow people new to the hobby to try it out risk free to see if they enjoy it. If you’d be interested in seeing a discussion and demonstration on a particular tool or technique, please let us know! Interested painters are also invited to join the Knoxville Area Miniature Painters group on Facebook at: http://www.facebook.com/groups/425292220862477/. My husband brings along a selection of card and board games that he is available to teach and play with partners and friends who are non-painters.
