  1. Painted this as a gift for my cousin. I was a little bit rushed at the end to finish and didn't get to highlight/detail as much as I would have liked and also relied on dry brushing to speed things up, which I don't care for. Found out my aunt is in town and can bring him the box of goodies I made him without me having to mail off. This was the last to go in. My main goal was to have fun and experiment with the base and I was very happy with it. I've never had mud come out so well. Tough painting things I know I will never see again. Hard to part with the stuff, but he has more use for them with his long time game group and I like painting them, but don't really have a use for the models after I am done. Hope you enjoy.
  2. The boss man. Looking back, I should have done a more "patchwork" job on the fur with different colors. I can always modify it. But its not really priority.
  3. She's been done for a little while now but now I'm finally posting her. This mini will be pulling double duty for me. First she'll be a centerpiece in My warlord Kargir force and then she'll menace my Pathfinder players as "Maw" Hooger, the fierce matriarch of a clan of ogres my players will soon be dealing with. Talanka front in snow 1 2 The first few were taken a few weeks ago when there was still snow. Wanted to see how the snow base looked against the real thing. Touched up nose Tried to touch up the nose a bit but messed up another part of her face. will have to fix that. I was fairly proud of the frog's belly here. Edit: linked to pictures from front due to wardrobe malfunction. Slightly embarrassed by the oversight. New edit: Updated tags and links
  4. A few weeks back, Stubbdog requested people start army blogs. So, that's what I'm doing. At ReaperCon 2011 I picked up the bits to make a Kargir army. The metal sat untouched in a drawer for about 9 months. With ReaperCon 2012 fast approaching, I decided I should probably get the army to at least a playable level to field at the ReaperCon 2012 Warlord tournament. I managed to get the army assembled, based, primed, and zenith highlighted in time to get one trial game in before the tournament. As of right now, I only have the Warlord, Kavorgh, painted up. As I get additional models painted, I'll post them up here. Also, I'll be writing up a full report of how they did at ReaperCon.
