  1. The one thing I can't find any information on in regards to shipping is when are the add-ons such as paint sets and mini cases being sent? Trying to make some decisions on what to add beyond my initial pledge and was hoping those sorts of things might go out with the earlier shipment with Sophie.
  2. You love Reaper Miniatures and you have decided to back their Bones Campaign - but now what? How can you help? Well, you need to tell people about it and sometimes, that can be a little bit awkward. You don't want to come across like a used car salesman, but you want to make sure you make the sale. So, lets take a minute to look at some good and bad ways of doing things. Off Topic Discussion Forums Here we will look at two different examples of posts in an off topic forum which are an example of a good and a bad post. The first was made on GOG.com: http://www.gog.com/e...ter_offer/page1 The second was made on The Escapist: http://www.escapistm...starter-project GOG is primarily a video gaming site, The Escapist is a generic Nerd News site. Neither of them are specific to miniatures, RPGs or wargames - so they would be good representations of off topic discussion forums. Although it isn't the primary subject matter, there are likely to be any members who are interested in the offerings which Reaper is providing. What is of note though, is the reaction and the engagement. On GOG, the initial post was a member in good standing. They had almost 100 posts before hand, so when they posted the link to the KS campaign - other members engaged them in their discussion. On the escapist however, the initial poster just registered in order to post the link. The forum moderation team would not be remiss for deleting the thread and banning the user as a spammer. It is important to understand the difference between the two. One is helpful, the other - while it might end up bringing a few members to the KS campaign - can be harmful. You want to get the information in front of as many eyes as possible, but you don't want people to think Spam when they think Reaper.
  3. Apologies in advance because the answer is probably here somewhere, but with over 100 pages in some of the discussions I get trying to keyword search, I kinda gave up :-) I am wanting to pledge at Vampire level and add on the awesome minis case. It says to add that amount to your pledge. I have tried starting at 100 and starting at 125, and no options to say where the extra money goes will come up. The only option I have is to confirm the order, something I am reluctant to do without knowing that something is going to pop up asking what I want to do with the extra money. Any help is appreciated. Not that I really NEED 100+ more minis to paint, but damn, are they too cool or what?
  4. I can't help it, I keep checking the kickstarter website to watch the number grow. OOOOhhh. It just went up again. Anyone else have this problem?
  5. Well, the topic line is the question. Will they be made in Texas ( or even USA) or will the work be going overseas?
  6. Instead of just guessing what will sell, put the minis where the money is and use kickstarter to let the customers buy in for the minis they want. Put up the concept art, name the sculptor and let the market decide from there. $1: HQ jpg of the concept art and honorable mention $5: print of concept art $ model's retail value : copy of finished model and a thank you certificate $20: HQ signed print of concept art Fill the rest out with oddball reaper swag and just watch what happens.
  7. I was looking through the Kickstarter info and came across something I hoped someone could help with. In the picture for the Vampire level pledge reward there is one figure that looks like a female fighter, with one foot up on the head of a dead dragon. I recognize most of the other figures, but not that one. I tried searching the online store, but I can't seem to find that particular figure. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!
