  1. Here are two very different pieces that happened to come on the same week. Krug, Hill giant chieftain. I borrowed my friends version of this mini about six months ago to use in my campaign. I called him "King Krud" and the players had to negotiate with him for passage through his territory. They made it through just a few horses and some gold short. Negotiating with a hungry hill giant is not an easy task. The players and I liked "King Crud" so much that I had to buy my own and I will be making him a reoccuring monster. I tried a few new things with this guy. I have been
  2. Painted Krug up for an upcoming game with my kids. Can't wait to get him on the table
  3. Here is my latest, a Hill Giant.
  4. I started on this last night. Flesh tones have never been my strongest skill. So far I'm happy with the way the face of the model is turning out. The veins on the arms... ugh. Im hoping to more or less complete Krug today. Ambishious project for me anyways. I'm thinking about making the hand wrap on the left hand bloodied? Suggestions? Any tips on fingernails? Usually I'd scmere on some off-white, but that might look a little cheesy. thanks Matt
  5. My first mini of the year! I had my eye on this one for a while and it did not disappoint. C&C welcome. Enjoy
  6. Recently got painted what may've been my favorite mini from Bones 2, the adaptation of Tre Manor's Krug, Hill Giant Chiefton. Great model, my first giant, and a fun one to paint, turned out. Just tried to keep it pretty simple, I guess. Tried for white wood with the club, in my ongoing quest to get wood right/not awful. Thought the goldish metal went well on it, too. I'm always silver. Wanted a wasteland-stones-something kind of something I don't know with the base. Thanks for looking!
