  1. This is Logrim, from start to pretty well finished. There's a little clean up to do and the varnishing left, but that's it. He turned out okay. I was going to call him "TAAAAANK!!!" but I think maybe "Robert the Extraordinarily Ordinary Dwarf" may be a more apropos moniker. This is the final product:
  2. Logrim was the first of the Coffee Dwarves of Agamenthar to see completion. Largely because he didn't have much skin showing. His rainment, like the rest of the Dwarves is in the traditional colors of Mawell House. His pose also speaks of one who is highly caffeinated and ready to slice Monday off at the kneecaps.
  3. Finished this guy a little over a week ago. Took almost no time compared to my previous figures and I've got a better setup figured out for taking pictures now!
  4. Just finished up my Logrim. Kind of a quickie paint job. Started with Army Painter Matte Black color primer. Dry brushed with Citadel Necron Compound. The highlights are a mix of Reaper HD and Army Painter paints. Washed with Citadel washes. Comments and and critiques are more than welcome. Thanks for looking. Here are some pics under better light. Didn't realize the first two were so dark.
  5. Here's a really quick (took me 4-5 hours) tabletop level commission piece I painted up for one of my D&D buddies, he's the party's paladin that goes by the name of Koncaron. Figure: Logrim, Dwarf Captain Manufacturer: Reaper Miniatures SKU: 14304 Sculptor: Bobby Jackson Material: Metal WIP Thread Thanks for looking, C&C are welcomed and appreciated!
  6. Doing a quick WIP for a PC (Koncaron) that I'm painting up as a small commission for one of my D&D gaming buddies. He wanted a Dwarf Paladin, I had Logrim, Dwarf Captain (Reaper SKU 14304) on hand and he gave me an inspiration picture to work off of with some tweaks to the color choices. Inspiration picture Tweaks - wants black beard and instead of brass/gold, he wants steel/silver. I've started out with giving the dwarf a Reaper Clear Blue basecoat after priming it, but instead of just Reaper Clear Blue, I added some Reaper Gloss Sealer and Water to the mix. I also wanted to do a cool little base for him. The base is resin, it's from one of Dragon Forge's kickstarters and the designs are actually from the first Etched-Brass IGG (kickstarter). The middle is a shield design I thought looked cool and dwarvish.
  7. Hi, I progressed a bit through my pile of Bones and painted Logrim the Dwarf Captain. Clad in full armour, he was surprisingly quick to paint to a basic tabletop quality. It was just a matter of having a nice basecoat in gold, burnish it and then pick some details out. The blue glow on the tip of the sword was my first try at this effect. And he is ready to battle any critter on his way... Even the slimy Chthon.
