  1. The last of my MLK weekend binge. Mega Miniatures made some great set-dressing minis, including a donkey-drawn two-wheeled cart. I painted the cart and donkey long ago, but the driver and his pile of ph4t l3wtz is a separate piece which I never really needed. With my upcoming Eberron campaign, I plan to encourage the players to take henchmen and hirelings, so this cart-of-ill-gotten-gains is likely to make an appearance. For some reason, in the last campaign all the hired crew for the party's airship was named "Diego." So it's likely that even if I introduce him as Bill
  2. This is an old Mega Miniatures giant frog that I have painted as an ice toad for use in games of Frostgrave. I have another one that's not quite finished yet; you'll see him a little later on. Tabletop paint as usual. ...and of course I see the base is scratched a little. I'll fix it in a bit.
  3. I painted up the Bones 2 Mountain Troll, and also recently did speed paints of two Mega MIniatures dog miniatures since one of the players in my D&D game seems to like using Summon Nature's Ally spells to summon dogs to help, and I wanted to have a couple of them painted for our next game.
  4. I was doing home remodeling and was self-exiled from my home and paint desk for over two months, so when I got access to my hobby room and paint desk and reorganized, I collected all my unfinished projects on the desk and realized my shelf of shame had grown to unacceptable proportions. I decided to tackle finishing as many of these pieces just to get them off my desk before I move on, even if I speed paint them or cut steps, but I am tired of looking at too many primed-only or part painted minis. So here is the first wave: Mashaaf which was my favorite to paint among these, the bones mum
  5. DeadTech Aliens came to earth during Wild West. These robots took over the bodies of the dead and are ready to fight. Here are the first few. I like them, but some sculptings looks like fail casts. Especially the hands. I'm really thinking about filing more details into the hands, if it is possible...
  6. So I bought some of the animal carcasses from Mega MIniatures. THought they'd be fun and different to paint and could potentially be used in a diorama or game some day They're 28mm, so rather on the large side, though for the smaller animals it's hardly noticeable. However, the buck, doe, and moose are HUGE...so uh...Dire Moose I guess? I used 77094: Trista the White Wolf [WIP] as a size scale in there with them. The cat, boar, fox, coyote, and vultures seem fairly properly sized. The rooster and rabbit are a bit big, but the moose, doe, and buck are just gigantic! Oh well, they're turning
  7. Here is an index to all my completed minis. If there is no link, that means I haven't started painting. A link to a WIP thread will appear if I'm working on it currently. *WIP(start) means it's the first post for a particular project in my defunct consolidated WIP thread.
