  1. I have been working on this mini for over a week. Glue-up was a pain in the elf. I am working on solving that problem. It is finally pinned, primed, and covered with bown liner. I tend to use the brown liner as a discovery process. I find all the little interesting details in the miniature with that brown liner. The little leather pouch on his belt, has a cats face carved into it. I will try to find some way to display that. I tend towards being photo heavy, and I will try to document what I am doing (If I know). I have no idea what direction this mouse is going to go, except that right now he has pink ears, and will probably be a gray mouse. Once I get painting, all bets are off, I don't use anyone else's painting to copy, and I mix my own colors. So here I begin to paint the Mouse Warrior. Note that most of the broccoli base has been removed. I left the area around the tail, since it is to fragile to survive without the support. Edited to add: Please note that above You see a line of buttons (TAGS) that tell you about the mini. If you click on Jasonator it will do a search and post a link to every miniature I have in the WIP's and Show Off section. I recommend that EVERYONE uses this feature. Folks can see your previous work, and YOU can find what you did. It takes just a second to do, but benefits are amazing.
  2. I have been painting this over in the Show-Off Forum for the past two weeks. Here is my Mouse Warrior completed. If you want to see how I got to this stage of the miniature, check out the Mouse Warrior WIP by clicking my name tab below the title. I can honestly say that this was a total delight to paint, So many options, and some real challenges in there. All that fur and really fine details added to my enjoyment. I especially enjoy the decision making process of what can I do with this. So here he is. You comments/Criticism is always solicited, and greatly appreciated. Let me know what you think please. Jay
  3. Ok so I got Collin done and I had thought to just wait and post them together but I think I will end up doing a thread for each figure. I think he looks great in person but sealing him did subdue some of the shading a bit more than I would like. I am really happy with him though. For a game piece he looks awesome.
