  1. The girl next door requested a dragon for her birthday, after she saw me give one to somebody else. I really hate giving away miniatures, because I feel my painting is not good enough for displaying to random people. But.. What can you do? :P Soo.. I figured I'd give it a go. Been working on these two on and off since yesterday evening: Based one black, the other white: The Valkyrie stood very low, so I sculpted a stand for her with a cork and some Fimo: Didn't fit perfectly with the ridges, but I think I can get away with it as a whole: And this is just abo
  2. So, continuing on my metallic dragon set, we have Narthrax the Golden. And yes, I can see where his tail didn't quite fill in perfectly. I'm not playing with greenstuff yet. :P
  3. Over the weekend, I decided to tackle Narthrax the dragon from Bones 2. I really like the pose and imagined him as a young dragon hissing at you. So I decided to paint him somewhat bright with hues of yellow, greenish blue and white. I'v always had trouble with yellows and white... Never sure how to shade it to make it clear enough but not too striking... (any recommendation welcome) Anyways, here is what I came up with. Introducing Narthrax, the Jungle dragon: C&C welcome.
