I was finally able to get back into the swing of things. Here are my minis from October & November. The Noblewoman from Bones Kickstarter 5. I think hers is one of the better human faces I've done. Here is the Warlord Spirit Wolf, #14623. I like how his blue flames turned out. And finally, the Overgourd from Bones Kickstarter 5. This was a fun one to paint.

Really happy with this one. I've been wanting to work on really pushing my highlights, and I figured this would be a good one to go nuts on. I reasoned that her clothing would be made of a silky/satiny material, so it would catch light quite a bit. My original plan was actually to paint her in a color scheme similar to Queen Bavmorda from Willow (since their outfits look so similar at a glance). But, I opted for a last-minute change to the blue-based color scheme right before I started painting. I still think a Bavmorda color scheme would look cool on her, if anyone else wants to run with the idea. This model is beautifully sculpted and was great fun to paint. Special thanks to kazmania for the tip on photographing against black felt. I haven't mastered it yet, but I'm already noticing the improvements in photo quality.

I have several Mage Knight minis I'd gotten in a bulk order on ebay and I've rebased several and use them as NPC's in Pathfinder games. However, they don't quite fill all the roles I need in GMing games. I don't really have any nobles. What I did have, was 2 of the witch-type mini (don't remember what the real name of the figure was). Therefore, I left one as the witch/sorceress woman and turned the other into a noblewoman. It required cutting off the shoulder pieces, the broom/staff thing, and the head dress. Then, I used Green Stuff to mold hair with a braid wreathing the head, sleeves that were open at the shoulders, and a fan. The first pictures are the original and conversion side by side. The last picture is my converted noblewoman by herself as my phone's camera really didn't like having the very dark and very light figures side by side, so it didn't give good detail for the pair of them. Hope you enjoy it! Compliments, comments, and critiques are always welcome :=)
