It has been a while since I have painted a miniature. I did not afford myself the time and energy because of issues (family, work, life, etc). Why did I want to grow up again? I made up excuses and reasons and I'm just sick and tired of that BS. Excuses and lying to myself will not allow me to succeed in life and I'm beginning to find my balance again. Oops, beginning to ramble, so here's the model I'm going to be working on: Several firsts for this guy: 1) Never painted a resin figure 2) Never painted a multi-part figure

END OF THE HUNT She stood overlooking the battlefield below her, finally reaching her objective... the ancient burial site of the most legendary of barbarians... Her scythe gleamed in the sunlight and blood dropped off its keen edge, her mask that she wore to strike even more fear into the hearts of her enemies hid her predatory smile, once the site was excavated she'd be nearly invincible and her enemies would fall before her like wheat... This figure is a commission piece I did for a good friend and client, I was given a lot of leeway on how to paint her up. Really only wanted me to take my artistic liberty and paint it with a feeling of all and a battle that had just happened. So I went to work and got inspired by the skulls I had and that would fit into the scene. I used mostly the same color palette throughout the base and the figure herself. My client was very happy to receive the piece today and I'm leaving it up to them if they want to say who they are. Figure: Mistress of the Hunt Manufacturer: Norsgard Scale: 32mm heroic Material: Metal WIP: None - you can check out my artist page for full WIP pics if you'd like, the link is in my .sig C&C are more than welcomed and greatly appreciated! Thanks for looking!!

The Sentinel He stood upon the outlook, his grizzled features and single eye looking down upon the massive horde of stinkin' orcs that were arraying against his people. He was one of the elite, the Sentinels of his people. He must warn them before it was too late... Figure: Dwarf Ranger, Alliance of the Bat Manufacturer: Norsgard Material: Metal Shield Modification made ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This figure was for an on-the-side exchange with fellow forum member, robinh. We met up this past Saturday night while he was visiting Vegas for a conference and I asked him for a little inspiration. He gave it to me in the form of something that was fun and modded that he could put on his display shelf. He has a running joke with Jasonator about having orange paint on every figure that he does. I took the opportunity to paint his pants orange. Anyhow, here he is! C&C are always welcomed and appreciated, thanks for looking! P.S. I didn't do a whole WIP of this guy as I was under a time crunch to finish him before meeting up with Robin. I did however take a few pics of the WIP on how I did his shield, before I added the design.
