  1. Hi there. Thought I would post a couple of pics of my first ever Bones figure, an Ogre, for C&C from the comunity. The skin tone is an experiment and I am not sure that it isn't too dark red. Anyone any suggestions on painting ogre fingernails? Still got the highlighting of the details along with various brass and bronze bits.
  2. This figure was done for a hobby shop for their figure painting contest as a promotion figure (it was not a contest entry). I had a great time painting this figure & forming a design vignette base that adds to the figure stance.
  3. This is another war boss enemy that the adventure group encounters...he is (Ug Bar). This was another ogre figure that I enjoyed painting...I tend to really like ogre figures for game play.
  4. This is one of the enemy monsters that my adventure groups encounter...he is (Brutus, an ogre warband leader). This is also my 1st attempt at trying to post (multi-view) photo images. I want to thank (buglips*the*goblin) for telling me how to do this.
  5. I've been head down painting for awhile. We'll start with the Ogre Chieftan.
  6. Here is a third Bones I painted with cheap craft paint. Like others, I find the mould lines on this guy a bit of a challenge, and in the end I didn't manage to get all of them off perfectly, particularly spots on his arms. But I enjoyed painting him. I will be back to painting metal after this, until March/April, when the deluge of plastic will begin (and I'll get to learn how to use better paint!) Cheers.
  7. Conversion of 65105: Talanka, Female Ogre Shaman into a hill giantess. The club is from the staff that was originally in her left hand. The drinking horn started as one of the tusks strapped to her back.
  8. These two miniatures were speed painted, about 30 minutes total brush time each, then simply glued to a 50mm base and flocked. Its not awesome work, but its fast and effective enough on the game table.
  9. Here is a converted Warhammer Ogre Kingdoms Slavelord that I completed a year ago. I started up with a GW Ogre Bull and added some bits, green stuff and chains. The huge cleaver, the leather mask and the skull artefact are some of the features I crafted. I wanted the base to look like the orange sand from an Australian desert. The Slavelord has always been an inspiring character to me. Known to the Chaos Dwarves as Ghrask Dragh, literally ‘corpse-slaver’. The Slavelord are infamous to enslave their prey in death as well as life with a Soul-Binder chains. Much more then a Butcher, it
