  1. A pair of skeletons from Grenadier packaged in 1992, item #3123: Skeleton Command. The first mini was my first time trying to use basing materials. The attempt dissuaded further experimentation for now. They weren’t going to be based at first, but the standard bearer turned out to be dangerously top-heavy. Didn’t have any better ideas, so I went with trying to make them look rusted by following Sirithiliel’s guide: I hope they turned out okay. Comments and critiques appreciated!
  2. I started to put this in the acquisitions thread. But then I didn't. At some point I purchased all the minis that will be involved. But not at all recently. The story: I was in my garage. I was shifting some boxes and moving stuff. In the middle of this I spotted a box labeled "TRAVELLER" on its end, written in blue marks-A-lot. I think, "What? No... Why are any of my old Traveller books out here? The garage is no place for books I don't want ruined!" So I investigate. Of course it was the bottom-most box. And this... ...is what I found. The old Peter Pan pea
  3. I found these angels on line they were so pose to be from reaper, but I do not think that is the case. they appear to be made out of lead so they have some age on them. please let me know what you think. the top three pics are the old paint bottom two are new paint. looks like the previous owner had a horrible spill with brown paint.
  4. Got these oddities out of a $1 per bit bitz bin a few days ago. I would be curious to know what they are. Markings underneath or on tabs (going left to right): "3o| PAL" -sword/pistol dude "©AEG '99" and "SH55" -troll? with missing arm "© PP 2006" -guy with brimmed hat "Ral Partha Ent" "1991 R K•••" -robot, far right The last two I at least know the makers, Privateer Press and Ral Partha. On the last one the dots are for three letters I just cannot read.
  5. So, my friend's parents were moving and found an old case of mini's which they promptly made him come get. He's not into figure painting anymore (the shame! but his wife is, so it's not a total wash), a nd figured I would enjoy these figures more than he (after letting his wife pick through, like a smart man). So here they are, old Partha's, Grenadier, even a few GW Battlequest(? I never remember the name) plastic dwarves. Mostly late 80's early 90's. More pics here totalling ~60 minis. Yeah, fear the Shiny Enamel Glory that was the early 90's. Some I don't care for, and unless convinced o
