All miniatures are in 28mm scale to realistic accuracy. Dinosaurs are scaled per paleontological reference. Dinosaur: 1944 is a cooperative strategy game about army men vs. prehistoric monsters. In it, you and up to 3 other players control brave soldiers in a World War II setting, struggling to save the entire world from the threat of a Mesozoic rebirth. It is in part a battle game, as you maneuver around the map and fight the enemy. It is in part tower defense, as you place ambushes to help take out or slow down the incoming fiends. Each hero has unique strengths and weaknesses – your victory depends both in mastering your own hero and cooperating with your friends. As the game progresses, you face more numerous foes and dinosaur bosses enter the field. Eventually you face the final boss – defeating her wins the game. So pre-launch (I think October). Just under 2000 copies are already printed and will ship after the pledge manager closes. More supporters will be part of a second print run for January 2020. About 30US$ to ship to Canada for a softcover & pdf. Also the option exists to back in advance for the 3 follow up adventures. That seems to be at a 5$ discount from the first module.

I decided to do a quick prime of my kickstarter minis. Creatures on blue /green spectrum got grey primer, and those that are fleshier got a mix of yellow & brown primer and a drop of craft red because I had it handy. No idea when I can next paint. Already did a good job obscuring some details.

Finished Cthulhu on Saturday, I think I'm learning to overcome my fear of highlighting too far, I still didn't go as light as people said I should. Some say you can go practically to white, but I am very hesitant to try that. I think I've made progress though. C&C welcome! Got my start on Cthulhu last week. Did a prime in black, then zenithal pre-shade white from above. Purple from below, then green from above. Liking the effect so far, think I'm done with the airbrush, gonna move on to regular painting.

Hey guys. I'm back after having my wisdom teeth removed :/ nasty surgery had to have some recovery. But I started painting again and I was wondering; am I getting speckling here? It used to be really bad but I diluted down a touch and I think it's better. Could use some help.

Some in progress works of nyar as I work on him. Started with black primer, airbrushed white pre shading, drybrushed transparent dioxane purple, accenting the shadows, then coated in transparent pthalo blue.

Alright go these guys to a serviceable spot for a test game tomorrow. Forgot that there was a third one, I know I had it when priming and pre-shading, probably the hounds of tindalos again. DAMN THOSE CORNERS. Btw does anyone have any suggestions, beyond "just don't touch them," for playing games with half painted minis? I don't want to varnish them and was hoping there was a better way. @Talae I know you play while wip, do you do anything special?

Just finished the Mi-Go from the black goat faction and thought I would put up pictures of them and the cultists and ghouls I finished before. C&C always appreciated!

Alright so finished Shub Niggurath of the Black Goat faction for Cthulhu Wars. I think she turned out well, and this is probably the most success I've had with highlighting so far. Pretty happy with her. WIP here:

Took a break from painting over the holidays, now I'm back to the Black Goat faction from Cthulhu Wars. Started on the Mi-Go without a clear color scheme in mind and I think it shows. Any ideas what I can do to fix would be greatly appreciated! This one is the flag model that I was trying color schemes out on and I think the one I ended up with looks disconcerting but not in a good way. And these are the other 3, basecoated, pre shaded, with purple underlighting, and some drybrushing.

My goal was to keep this under 5 hrs for painting (mold line removal and greenstuff time not included). I ended up at 3.75hrs. I am not sure if he is 100% done, but he is at least done for now.
