  1. Bolt rpg kickstarter is launching today. First created, but the rules are done minus art and production value. It's digital only, which helps some of the possible production snags. The creator is all over Twitter. The actual Kickstarter page has links to the Itch.Io pages referenced. I deleted them per commerce rules (hope I didn't miss any). Below is the actual text pasted. BOLT is a flexible, action-centric tabletop RPG built on fast gameplay and escalating tension. It’s a bit Cyberpunk 2020, it’s a bit Genesys, and it pulls a few tricks from indie story games, too. At
  2. These are from the old Grenadier set #1502 Robo Hunters from the Future Warriors range, sculpted by Mark Copplestone, a vision of the future from the 1980s. I wanted to paint up some PoC figures. The Grace Jones lookalike was an obvious choice, as was the glowering dude in dreadlocks. The teenager fits too. There's also a guy with some ludicrous hair but I didn't paint him this time. All paints used are Golden Matte Fluid Acrylics. Color mixes are (usually) noted, but not exact ratios. Questions are welcomed and I will try to answer them. Critiques are appre
  3. This is Hasslefree's HFA180, Monique, part of a group of modern adventurers I've been working on. There is no WIP thread.
  4. He was painted for the January Bones Beauty Pageant. He looks a little more old school than the other figures in the pageant. His features looked to me like he could be well painted dark. I see some sloppy areas in the photos. Ah, well.
  5. This is 02058: Elia Shadowfeet, which came in a set with two others, 03359: DHL Classics Female Halflings. She's a dainty little Old-School thing. To give an idea of size, she is standing on a standard Chessex dice box. There is a later version of Elia who is an amazon by comparison. Both were sculpted by Sandra Garrity. She was sculpted with (probably) bare legs, but I added painted-on breeches because that tunic looked mighty short and drafty. I painted her dark because dark hobbits, why not. Reflections on the short sword are painted on. I think the whites on her sleeves go
  6. I quick-painted the five Bones pirates, and this is the fourth. I hated his little moustache, so I ignored it when I painted the figure.
