  1. I honestly can't remember where I got this, or who made it, so if you know please let me know. This is a quick speed paint/experiment. Other than primer, I did the whole thing with a succession of different washes, inks, and a little bit of drybrushing until it looked sufficiently grungy and disgusting. I think it took me about 2 hours all together. C&C is always welcome.
  2. This is an old drow elf made by RAFM that I've had mostly done on my shelf for way too long. All I needed to finish was his boots and base; I have no idea why I didn't finish him up before. Anyway, he's done now. Most of the paint is from a couple years ago...
  3. I did this cute little guy as a break from all the mummies I have been working on.
  4. Mr. Mureica Is a second generation immigrant who runs a hot dog stand in times square. He is fiercely patriotic and quickly strips down to his costume whenever the city comes under attack. He was granted superhero powers when he was caught in a massive battle as a young boy. A Hydra agent threw some super solider serum into his fathers cart, and one thing led to another. He recieved strength speed and toughness from the serum, (although less than some). He is also immune to heat, cold and disease which comes in handy in his day job. He fights with eagle style Kung-Fu but lacks
  5. Two of the hatchlings from Bones II - other than a fairy dragon from a familiars pack, these are my first dragons. Thought it would be best to work up to the big guys! This was a rush job, so they could both certainly be better.
  6. I'm starting my February Challenge minis with a modified version of Cassie the gnome wizard. I've removed a large bottle and a scroll case, and modified the staff she is carrying. In my mind, all gnomes should be brightly colored with an ...unusual... fashion sense. Humans might call it "loud." I've painted this mini before. In fact, the mini above is representing my most recent Pathfinder PC, while the second mini I ever painted is also a gnome, and was my first Pathfinder PC, in the metal version of this sculpt. I think I have improved a bit since I painted the fir
  7. The Resolutionary Painting challenge finally inspired me to join the forums. <Obligatory new member disclaimer here.> My goal is to paint to "nice tabletop" standards. If it looks good from 2 feet away, I'm happy. If it looks good from 2 inches, I would be estatic. Not many of my minis so far look good that close up, but I think I am improving. I've learned a lot from reading and seeing what others have done. I would appreciate any comments on what you think was done well, and areas where I could use some improvement. Here is my January adventuring party: Cameo sho
