  1. I am churning out the Bones 4 core set PC-types just to get them out of the way before I can get stuck in with the more interesting monsters and creatures. Apologies in advance for my lack of photographic skill. I thought I had found a good setting, but clearly not for all. #146: The Honorable Miss Rosy Palm, Lady of the Night

Apologies in advance for my lack of photographic skill. I thought I had found a good setting, but clearly not for all. #53 Rabble rouser with rolling pin. Won't somebody think about the children?

  10. This was an 18 dollar add on to the Bones 4 campaign, the rather massive Skeletal Dragon. And what an excellent specimen it is! I made a 230x110mm base for it on my 3D printer. It needed to be printed in two parts as it was far to large for my 140x140mm print bed. I glued ot together. gave it a once over with some sandpaper and stuck the bones base to it. How I painted it: Black undercoat with white ink zenithal sprayed on. After this was thoroughly dried out, I painted Citadel Skeleton Horde contrast (yes! Contrast paint! It works like
  11. #50 What I object to is that you automatically treat me as an inferior! Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses not some farcical aquatic ceremony! 25mm base.
  12. I am trying get the -in my opinion- less enjoyable player character-type minis out of the way, which will let me do the more fun monster minis when finishing up the core set, hopefully letting me keep up the motivation to actually get the entire set done as I have wowed to do. #51 Belle the serving wench 25mm base.
  13. #52 The operative question here is: Benediction, or 1st level Karate Pose? 30mm base.

I am trying get the -in my opinion- less enjoyable player character-type minis out of the way, which will let me do the more fun monster minis when finishing up the core set, hopefully letting me keep up the motivation to actually get the entire set done as I have wowed to do. #150 This Elf Barbarian reminds me of Final Fantasy for some reason...might be the subtle and understated sword-thing. 25mm base.

Yah, that would be a Drow. 25mm base.

Whip it! Whip it real good! 25mm base.
  17. My photography has really been sub par for some time so I am trying out som different settings on the camera, including changing the backdrop to try to find a setting that works better than before. Focus is key, deep focus is even more key. I think I might just have cracked it. At least for now. Just some incy wincy spiders today, the pack called "spiders" from Nolzur's Marvellous Miniatures. The dark background has it's uses, but did not really work for these models. #1 #2 #3 These spiders are a little bit
  18. #3: Sexy lady on a grave The bared-shoulder-come-hither-look in a tight formfitting dress has to be a vampire, don't you think? Why else would she be standing on a grave looking all alluring? I painted the dress with Green Stuff World Metalcolor Cæsar Red (a metallic deep red) and Reaper Rose Gold, a metallic pink. I find these colours work very well together. Rose gold is not available at retail (yet). I won the Rose Gold on the Halloween Twitch stream lottery draw together with three other paints and some halloween-themed minis (Yay! I actually won something for on
  19. #96 Baba Yaga: Baba Yaga, the Evil Witch of Slavic folklore, flying around in her Mortar, wielding her Pestle. Or maybe it's a massive Q-tip to clean out the ears of her chicken-legged dancing hut? I made a 25x35mm oval base and drilled a hole in the bottom of the mortar. I unbent a paperclip slightly and bent the long bit at an angle, and glued the end in the hole. The rest of the paperclip was glued flat on the base and lo! A flying mortar. I glued Baba Yaga herself down at an angle to make her looking more like she was sitting comfortably rather than squatting precar
  20. #151 Elf Swordswoman of some sort. Maybe a straight-up fighter? From the "Elves" subset.
  21. #153 Elf Swordswoman of some sort. Maybe a paladin? IRL, the Cape has some nice shading going on, but it does not show up in the washed out pictures. All the minis look better when not magnified as in the pictures. 25mm bases. Not my most inspired work.
  22. #160 Sophie the succubus is Reapers mascot of sorts, and has appeared in many versions up through the years. In this KS she has this model as the serving wench, and the Chibi one. Of the other three I have no idea about the backstory, if any. Maybe they are roleplaying characters of the Reaper staff or some such? #160: I went with the same red-purple skin I used on the Chibi version. She is a demon after all. 25mm base From the Sophie's friends subset:
  23. #161: I went with the white/blue and the yellow cape as a nod to the classic three musketeers look. 25mm base from the Sophie's Friends subset
  24. #162: I think I will call her Clarabelle. She does not like to be called "The Cow" at all... 40mm base from the Sophie's Friends subset:
