  1. Again...forgive me if this question is posted on the wrong forum. I have read (The Gathering) & (The Playing) forums. I am completely baffled as to how you are able to play an (RPG/D&D) adventure game on this computer system. I understand that the (GM) can write the scene/text and the players can write their individual action/acts texts...but how are dice rolls done & confirmed...or any vast number of other situation actions/acts that require (GM) visual confirmation to decide the next action/act that transpires. As a (GM), I am completely baffled & in the dark as to how you ca
  2. This is the kingdom map of the world area that my (RPG) adventure group lives and adventures in. I have shown you the map above, the inn they live in at (KRONT), the tavern they spend their evenings in. I have shown you the adventure group (The Seekers)...shown you the major (NPC) characters they interact with and even a few of the enemy units that they fight and battle. I hope you have enjoyed this quick view into my (RPG) world.
  3. For anyone looking for an alternate world setting for Pathfinder.... http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1860935013/thunderscape-the-world-of-aden
  4. So, I posted pictures of a lot of these miniatures a while ago, but I've taken better pictures since, and learned how to adjust the levels in photoshop as well. Also, there are pictures of three miniatures that have not been posted previously. As, I have the pictures uploaded in a gallery at an external site, I'll just link to that. http://trippdinger.yolasite.com/miniatures.php'>My miniatures.
  5. http://www.kickstart...or-rpg-prologue Another Studio2 project, this is the second Shadows of Esteren project, though if you missed the first one that's ok as you can get everything (except the original DM Screen) still from this project. The original LE book is a beautiful product, one of the best quality RPG books I own and I recommend it just on production value alone. As to the contents even if you end up using a different game system the Esteren books are full rich campaign settings and this KS will provide a print Player's Guide, Mini Campaign and a PDF of the DM's guide a
  6. Wow already about to start our fourth session, its going by so quickly. We would like to congratulate Tiffany Rogers for breaking the 300 point mark and earning herself a tier1 prize, following closely behind is themudhead, Richard Burge, Kristen Lyon, and David Jackson. This next session we will be running a little differently. The deadline will be longer and the points will be much higher, this is a chance for anyone who has not taken the opportunity to participate to catch up drastically. The next piece is to be a diorama, subject matter is open to anything you would like to do. The
  7. Heya folks, I haven't ever really played rpgs aside from Baldur's Gate on the computer. I currently have the Forgotten Realms campaign setting for 3.0 cause I like the Forgotten realms. What i am trying to gauge is the general overview of the different fantasy systems. What do you play? Why did you choose it over another? Thanks:)
  8. Seems like a separate thread about Swords and Wizardry might be a good thing, being as some of us are going to be getting that bad boy at some point. I've played it. I rather like it. It's essentially open source Original Dungeons and Dragons. Here's hoping I can get the link to my Tumblr to work.... I don't COMPLETELY agree with the diagram; S&W is a considerable cleanup and tightening of the original, horribly written Three Book Boxed Set. It really has more in common with the Red Book and Blue Book Basic D&D editions. But it's a fine piece of work that very much captures the
  9. So, now that I'm getting a Ton of Bones and a nice chunk of Stonehaven Dwarves I really think it's time to expand my group. Currently it's mostly one or two friends and myself that are interested in the painting of miniatures and such, whereas the rest of our group is just about gaming. We try to get together once a week for a full day on Saturday in Aumsville, but it's likely we'll aim for Salem as our main venue moreso, as people are moving here (I already have as have a couple others) and a lot of them go to Chemeketa. Once school starts up they'll also be in Salem more often during the
