  1. After another longer than intended break from painting I've finally started a new project. As the title says this is another chance to clear my desk of miniature clutter that has once again accrued. At least it's not as bad as last time as only a handful of miniatures have built up. Starting off I grabbed two similar miniatures and got to work. Luckily I've known the exact color scheme I've wanted for these two for awhile now, so I was able to just jump back in. I'm definitely out of practice but I'm still pleased with just one night's work. Spur of the moment I decided to switch things up and start another figure. I had only intended to try out my new green but ended up nearly finishing it too.
  2. So this particular mini has been on and off my desk repeatedly, and today saw a chance for it to receive some paint while I had the oils out... It's mainly pre-stains at the moment, with a tiny bit of work on the base, face, and skull. Not quite sure which paints were used, but I know for sure there's Payne's Grey, Portland Grey Medium, Portland Grey Light, Titanium Zinc White, Quinacridone Magenta, Rust Red, Transparent Earth Orange, Sap Green, Hansa Yellow Light, and Hansa Yellow Deep.
  3. It's that time of year for Orcs...but I already did that. So it's time to get spooky instead! Here's my latest from Bones V (and recent promos) on that front. The Overgourd, since they demand an October paint job: Scarecrows: vampiresses of Ravenhome: Captain Barty Redd: And his Zombie Crew:
  4. Well I spend so much time on it I figured I better at least show this off. I typically only post WIPs in my blog, if you are morbidly interested in the progress the links are listed below. http://wargamesandrailroads.blogspot.com/2017/02/reaper-miniatues-shipping-container-prep.html http://wargamesandrailroads.blogspot.com/2017/02/reaper-miniatues-shipping-container.html http://wargamesandrailroads.blogspot.com/2017/02/reaper-miniatures-shipping-container.html http://wargamesandrailroads.blogspot.com/2017/02/reaper-miniatures-shipping-container_23.html http://wargamesandrailroads.blogspot.com/2017/02/reaper-miniatures-shipping-container_27.html http://wargamesandrailroads.blogspot.com/2017/02/reaper-miniatures-shipping-container_28.html http://wargamesandrailroads.blogspot.com/2017/03/reaper-miniatures-shipping-container.html http://wargamesandrailroads.blogspot.com/2017/03/reaper-miniatures-shipping-container_3.html http://wargamesandrailroads.blogspot.com/2017/03/reaper-miniatures-shipping-container_6.html
