  1. Painted up as a "Billet", followe r of St Cuthbert for a character in Greyhawk D&D game.
  2. Haven't been able to paint much this last month and a half but did manage to squezze out a few.
  3. Havn't been able to paint much this last month and a half but did manage to squezze out a few. Seek out the "Red Robin of Everwine Forest," they would surely know your quest and maybe of some help, said the sage.

  6. This was from a couple months ago; I was pretty unsure what I wanted to do with it. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out, particularly given that I think I only had three different colors of blue paint in bottles, and two of them were pretty similar. Watch out this time of year for this fellow, he'll come riding in with the blizzards!
  7. An ongoing collection of Reaper miniatures that I have brought to completion. REAPER 77623 Avatar of Courage REAPER 77489 Bregan Valkyrie
  8. Last of this month's work. I know said was gonna take a break for the holidays but got bored. While scrounging around my loose mini's I came across her, don't know what happened to the wraiths but decieded to paint her alone....hehe no choice without the wraiths. She always reminded me of someone and wanted no needed to due her as such as i could, so without further ado.... ....A.K.A. "the Scarlet Witch" I wanted her to be at least more sinster looking thinking about going back and giving her a purple eye shadow maybe that will help with the over all look of the face.
  9. and the last of this month's work, pretty sure can't see another one out of me with only half a day left. I know said was gonna take a break for the holidays but got bored. I gave up my blue for that stupid hellborn skag Skarre, now what color do I choose. While looking at pirate pics for ideas I noticed alot of them were deplicted as wearing brown alot but could recall seeing any or hardly any pirate mini's painted as such, so....
  10. Last of this month's work. I know said was gonna take a break for the holidays but got bored. When i first got her i noticed she was so danity, so skinny it felt like I was painting a 25mm. What I planned to be an easy paint job turned into any but.
  11. Presenting my first finished Bones V Kickstarter mini, the mighty Hercules! I don't get much painting time these days, so he's a little rough and rushed in places, but he's done and he doesn't look too bad. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.
  12. Considering this is a Reaper forum, I don't post nearly enough Reaper stuff! Going to try remedying that by slowly going through that big box of Bones V I've got perched on top of my stack of unpainted things. I'm starting with Hercules (Didn't expect him to be my first choice, but I have been watching a lot of Greek Myth stuff on Youtube lately):- This is after I've prepped him, primed him, had a second go at the mold-lines (I'm trying to get better at this), re-primed and finally given a Brown Wash. Got a little problem going on with his right arm, from the back it's all bulging muscle, but from the front the gap between his bicep and club is filled in with something. Not sure how to fix this, so I decided to paint it as part of his lion cape (And hope no one notices the two halves don't line up). Huh, mystery solved. Looking at it now in these piccys, I can see that weird bit of arm is actually his thumb. Painted his lion cape first (I'm a messy drybrusher). This was a base of Iraqi Sand/Ochre Yellow, then a Brown Wash, then drybrushes of Iraqi Sand/Ochre Yellow and Iraqi Sand/Ochre Yellow/Bonewhite. While the mane and tail end were a base of Iraqi Sand/Ochre Yellow/Leather Brown, Brown Wash and drybrushes of Iraqi Sand/Ochre Yellow/Leather Brown and Iraqi Sand/Ochre Yellow/Leather Brown/Bonewhite. Finally, it got Bonewhite claws, Dwarf Skin paw pads and then everything got Sepia Wash. While I'm on the computer I need to see if lions have special noses, if not then tomorrow I start on the skin of Hercules!
  13. Or, as I like to call him, Smaul Hollywood.
  14. I managed to make my November quota and than some, now time to relax for holidays and birthday. Now I thought it'd be fun to do some more of reaper's savage coast characters. I guess she could be consider a cleric making my third this month, yeah I know....... .....wishful thinking.
  15. I managed to make my November quota and than some, now time to relax for holidays and birthday. I decided to do a couple of cleric's this month, don't own hardly any female clerics but did manage to come across her while searching. opps forgot to post the pics.... .......duh !

  17. I managed to make my November quota and than some, now time to relax for holidays and birthday. Now I thought it'd be fun to do some more of reaper's savage coast characters. I just didn't want a gordon's fisherman.
  18. I managed to make my November quota and than some, now time to relax for holidays and birthday. Now I thought it'd be fun to do some more of reaper's savage coast characters. The last of what I managed this month..... wow eight down, hundreds and hundreds to go, ouch.
  19. I managed to make my November quota and than some, now time to relax for holidays and birthday. The second cleric of the month, he gave me fits because of his sunken eyes, just couldn't do any thing with them, than thought holy light coming out of his body, doesn't really work but still enjoyed trying. Of course now while posting this I just thought I could/should of just filled with putty or put a drop of glue into the socket.
  20. I managed to make my November quota and than some, now time to relax for holidays and birthday. My first hobbit, done gnomes etc but never a hobbit..... .....until now ! hehe
  21. Hi all, just thought I'd share a couple images of my first Reaper mini painted up. It definitely seemed strange not priming something before getting started (typically print my own lately in resin, so have to prime those), but I wanted to try one of the Reaper products. I am by no means a pro, but each mini seems to get a bit better - constructive criticism welcome - I know I need to get a better photo setup sometime - maybe when the basement reno is done 🙂 Next up is Boerogg Blackrime the Frost Giant...I love doing monsters so they're on-hand when needed for our D&D campaigns 🙂 20211031_141414.mp4
  22. Posting last of this month, October's projects finished (and no sorry I'm not an Orc-tober person). While scanning thru some of my old mini's this one screamed out to me, unicorn pure, paint it black hehe... the funny thing is that none of my old mini's are in blisters anymore so when I choose one I don't know the name until after I paint it and look it up for posting. That her name turned out to be Blackfire just tickled my funny bone after giving her black armor. jana....a.k.a. "The Black Unicorn" "Your party must be crazy consorting with 'the black unicorn', she's one murderous back-stabbing b*tch," the barkeep bellowed.
  23. Painted with acrylics and oil paints. Work-in-progress photos and videos on my instagram: https://www.instagram.com/cokane/
  24. Posting this month, October's projects finished so far (and no sorry I'm not an Orc-tober person). Painting at least one wizard a month is a requirement is it not? When I saw this fig I just luved the Arabian vibe I got off it.
  25. Posting this month, October's projects finished so far (and no sorry I'm not an Orc-tober person). "You bunch of young ums better beware the White Wolf prowling these hills and country side while out seeking lust and gold," sternly told the Barmaid to the adventurers seeking gossip which she did indeed loved to tell, but this group just rubbed her the wrong way, "the She-devil of the woods will eat you alive!" "Ahhh, quite messy with them Babs," said one of her regular patrons, "You'll have them pissing in thier pants telling your 'Witcher' stories. as you can tell from above I wanted her to have a Ciri/witcher vibe.....
