I have wanted to paint this one since I first saw it and it's probably the reason I bought the Dreadmere expansion. It was a really fun paint and during the entire process I imagined this pair slogging through the mire from small town to hamlet and even single dwellings bringing news and exchanging trade goods between people isolated by their environment. It's a lonely job, just him and his tortoise buy someone has to do it... Hope you all enjoy it too.

Last year I backed the Lost Kingdoms Miniatures Cuetzpal Kickstarter. It fits right into my Lost World so ...eh.. I bought almost everything, and this year I backed their STL 3D files Kickstarter and got all the rest... Anyway, this is the first one I painted. Tlemiahuatl a Fire Salamander. WIP here: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/69308-lost-world-project-glitterwolf-paints-coldblooded-creatures-and-conquistadores/page/162/#comments Hope you like him. Praise and rotten tomatoes welcome.

This is a little sideproject from my Lost World Project WIP here: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/69308-lost-world-project-glitterwolf-paints-coldblooded-creatures-and-conquistadores/& I think it deserves it's own WIP. It will be covered in the Lost World as well, but there it will be interrupted by the other things I paint and build there. With courtesy to @malefactus , @Peithetairosand @Chris Palmer for inspiring me with their awesome terrainbuilding. It all started when I noticed my spare base from Kaladrax. Kaladrax was put on a crypt as can be seen here: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/77556-kaladrax-on-her-mausoleum-by-glitterwolf/ At first it was just an idea, putting some jungle stuff on that. But then things kinda got out of hand a bit. And some fericious foam cutting

This Bones Lizardman with Spear was a gift from @Paradoxical Mouseduring a candy exchange where he and a few others guarded the candy. After an expirement in pink of which we shall never speak again, @malefactus gave me some advice and I went for a red with orange and yellow. The spear is still bendy, I don't mind the end of it, since that's a crooked branch, but the tip is a bit floppy as well. Anyway. Here is the latest warrior of my Lost World Project. WIP here: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/69308-lost-world-project-glitterwolf-paints-coldblooded-creatures-and-conquistadores/&page=132

I finished this guy Friday night, he was a rescue from the melt table at last Reapercon. He was relatively quick to paint, and pretty fun, too. Some of the shading I did on his 'belly' scales is hard to see due to the angle of the pics, but what you see on his bottom half is also present on his chest area, too. I got his eyes looking pretty good (although to be fair, they are a bit bigger than the average human sized figures eyes). I had thought about giving him some patterns on his scales, but decided against it. The base was one of the first ones I've done using base stamps; I'm not entirely happy with it, but it's not awful, either. More practice both with the stamps, and with what material I use for the base is in order. This one was straight Green Stuff. Thanks for looking, please let me know what you think. ETA----I put 2 SKU numbers in the title because he is available either by himself (14423) or in a multi-pack with 9 total figures (06155).

This is a Dragyri Warrior ( I believe) from Dark Age, he was sent to me by @malefactus a while ago to contribute to my Lost World Project. WIP: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/69308-lost-world-project-glitterwolf-paints-coldblooded-creatures-and-conquistadores/&page=117 In my Lost World he is Drakh a mutant turtle warrior. He has a pet Meso, a Raptor Hatchling from Bombshell Miniatures. Base is made with a Greenstuffworld Roller Pin and some tuft/flock. Here they are, the last pictures are with my Jungle Photobackdrop Board to show them in their natural habitat. Enjoy!

I finished my take on the Jungle Titan. The WIP is here. I painted this mostly to shake the rust off of the painting skill before working on my Reaper Con entries. I didn't put much time into the base, sorry. This is slated for the game table. Have a great day, Andy

Link The Drowned Earth... ...is a tabletop miniatures game where brave heroes and villains risk the dangers of the wilds for glorious riches and ancient technology! Played on a 3ftx3ft table. 5 (or more) models a side. Scenario based play. Beautifully cast, multi-part metal miniatures. The game is set in the land of Ulaya, a tropical world of flooded cities, overgrown ruins and terrifying predators. About the Development Process When I decided to create The Drowned Earth I had Four simple design briefs. I wanted the game to have: A Parkour/ Freerunning movement system. Rules which told a narrative through a dramatic reaction mechanic. A streamlined, elegant system which was quick to learn and easy to remember. An unambiguous rules set suitable for competitive play. Two years of development later, and I think I've ticked those boxes, and many more! The Drowned Earth is the kind of game you can tell stories about, without once talking about the mechanics or the dice you rolled. Models leap off buildings, guns blazing, dodge bullets as they run through open ground, and swing from vines to take key objectives. It truly is a cinematic, narrative game full of knife edge choices and story moments! About the Miniatures I've watched and backed a lot of Kickstarters, and passionately want to avoid the pitfalls many of them experience with late delivery, quality issues and production bottle necks. As a first time producer I have done as much research as possible to mitigate risk. To that end I have established full production pipeline and have actually gone through a complete production cycle with an outstanding metal caster, to deliver to you the best metal miniatures I can. Pictures speak a thousand words.

Another one finished for my Lost World Project. http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/69308-lost-world-project-xherman1964-paints-coldblooded-creatures-and-conquistadores/&page=71#comment-1531812 This is an older sculpt from Grenadier. I used a little water effect on the base to make it appear more swamplike. And I clipped off some plastic aquarium plant pieces to paint as jungle plants. Added a tiny piece of driftwood from the garden centre. Hope you like it. Feel free to comment.

Here it is: the dreaded Demogorgon... This was the first larger scale mini I painted. It was a lot of fun, especially watching it come alive with a wash on the furry and scaley bits. Enjoy! As always, tips and suggestions are welcome. :) -E.E.

I needed another large monster for my Lost World Project. WIP and Stories here: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/69308-lost-world-project-xherman1964-paints-coldblooded-creatures-and-conquistadores/ This time I painted the Ral Partha T-Rex. Based her on a resin Jungle base from Micro Art Studios, it has some nice touches like a conquistadore's skull, frogs and a lizard. I named her Trixy. Hope you like her:

I finished another recruit for my Lost World Project. This time the Bones Lizardman Warrior sculpted by Ben Siens. WIP is here for those interested: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/69308-army-of-the-lost-world-xherman1964-paints-coldblooded-creatures/ He is based on a Resin Jungle Base from Micro Art Studios. I'm less happy with him because of lack of detail in the face area. Big Bones are great and well detailed, some of the smaller can lack some detail. But he will do, He will be a grunt in the army so nothing special. I do like how the shield came out though. Without further ado... Here he is, hope you like the little coldblooded guy.
