  1. Started converting my bones v robot kobolds. The idea was to arm them with scifi weapons to use them as a little starship boarding party. The plan is to do a total of 9 when ever they hit retail, all with different weapons. So far axe guy has a plasma gun and a samurai banner. Then there's rocket launcher kobold Knife kobold has a flame thrower.
  2. I painted two packs of the larger robots from the viceroy enforcers pack. They're mostly cyberist orange and blue titanium
  3. Here's a pair of robots I built to use for this is not a test. They are a mix of privateer press cyriss bodies, assorted gw, Mantic, reaper, and historical bits, and some wire. Was trying to play up the corrosion and damage in the paint.
  4. This has been a while in the making, going back to Science Ninja Team Gatchaman (Battle of the Planets) when I was 3 or 4.... Anyway, I've invested "a bit" in "a couple" of big stompy robot kickstarters over the last few years. Over the last year a few parts of a couple of them have arrived, and recently I've had the urge to get started on painting some of them. Here are a few of the bots to paint. You see the early bird Ace from the Bones CAV kickstarter (in white), and the Bonus add-ons to the Wave 1 portion of the Palladium Robotech RPG Tactics kickstarter (in grey (Zentraedi) an
  5. Retro Raygun robots, quick paintjob, sometimes simplest is bestest, just used reaper pure silver and washed it with armypainter strong tone ink. then did some detail work with a few other colors.
  6. These are what I finished painting this year, a year that was somewhat abbreviated by world events. Really, this is what I painted in the last six months, since political dismay kept me from the miniatures table for approximately eight months after the last US Presidential election. This year I painted my first Reaper Warlord figures who were also my first oversized werewolves, 77754 the Rageclaw Slayer, and 77755, Aislinn, Shadow Tracker. Nearly everything I painted was for the White Wolf World of Darkness and Exalted. Left to Right Links: http://
  7. This is one of my planned dioramas for ReaperCon. It is going to be a post apocalyptic 'bot shop featuring Bombshell Miniatures's Maelee and an assortment of robots. Right now the structure is built and partially painted with some weathering started. Still need to put a sign together but other than that, all construction is completed. What color do you suggest for the bricks/stone? The walls are a faint blue which is hard to see in the photos and will have rust effects like the roof. These are most of the 'bots as well as the workbench. The Maelee I am using is
  8. Stopped by my local gaming store yesterday and they had 2 packs of the BSC Alpha. I didn’t get them in the KS, so snapped them up. I have s bunch of bits laying around and no real purpose for the BSC so just played around a bit.
  9. Swarming out from several enormous dimensional Rifts, a horde of giant invaders, so different in shapes and sizes that they couldn’t belong to the same species, had apparently decided the time had come to bring Humankind to extinction. They got damn close to it too! Two years went by after the first invasion, years in which two thirds of the Earth’s population was wiped out. In order to survive, every single nation left aside any ideal of independence and united under the flag of the Earth Federation, dividing cities into Metropoleis and Refuges and attempting any possible strategy to stay ali
  10. About this project Take on the role of an elite Machinist and drive your Wreckers in full metal, robot on robot combat! Control the Nodes or annihilate their Wreckers to deal life-threatening Feedback damage to your rival; either way only one Machinist will walk away victorious. To demonstrate that we can take the process from end-to-end, the 3 miniatures below are production-ready miniatures, all in metal, which have been professionally painted by the incredibly talented Seb Lavigne of DARK IRON STUDIO And here we have the
  11. Figures for one of my favorite boardgames! I already had a set painted but I messed up the varnishing so I had to get a new set and this is the result.
  12. When the weather outside is crappy... I sit in my nice basement and paint. First up, 59015: Automatons by Bob Ridolfi. It wasn't just that the iron men were indestructible, it was that when you looked into the fires of their eyes, something looked back...
  13. APCs for my 15mm Human marines: And medium tanks for my Robot Legions: All vehicles are converted Matchbox cars.
  14. Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know that we have launched a little Kickstarter project for some sci-fi robot models. These were actually the first models we ever made, but we never really did anything with them, and now we'd like to get production moulds made for them. So, if they look like the sort of thing you'd be interested in, take a look here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/oathsworn/oathsworn-miniatures-sci-fi-wargames-robots Thanks! Michael
  15. I've primed and cleaned most of the box set, but these three really jumped out at me so they're the first to get some paint. A cruel prison warden and his two metal enforcers And just for fun a shot of a little robot on robot violence.
  16. DeadTech Aliens came to earth during Wild West. These robots took over the bodies of the dead and are ready to fight. Here are the first few. I like them, but some sculptings looks like fail casts. Especially the hands. I'm really thinking about filing more details into the hands, if it is possible...
  17. Now for something completely different.... I'm putting together a piece for my wife while I wait for paints to finish out Jazzy's elf/fairy/lutanist/whatev! The Bladesinger ended up being too large for Munchkin usage, and she and Jazzy never could decide who the piece belonged to anyway so... Here's to round #2! This will probably be a 2-piece game piece starring Victoriana and her robot companion/butler/keeper of the cheese HLpR Bot, both of Bombshell Miniatures. My wife loves all things Jane Austin, all things Victorain, all things Tea Time... You get the idea. She likes to tease me
