  1. Stumbled across this and thought it might be of interest to some folks here. Be a different way of putting together woods and stuff for traditional wargaming. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/babbletree/terragon-terrain Pretty much the entire 'leader' page is GIFs so I'm not going to try and copy it over to here.
  2. PDF is an inexpensive $1 supplement by Philip Reed, who has run multiple KS campaigns, and has been writing RPG material for 20+ years. He's also head bean counter at Steve Jackson Games. The rumors are essentially adventure seeds, mostly for single encounters. You have to stat out the details. See the free sample. Most of the material has been previously published in previous KS as articles. This KS is for a collection of his work. Sometimes, he'll give free PDFs of his previous work during a campaign. Personally, I recommend the PDF because you're only goi
  3. ATTENTION TABLE TOP RPGers! It's been a while, so time to start up a group of gamers again. I will be starting a Game Session ... once a month for 4, 6 or more hours at a session starting the week of my birth ... March's fourth week somewhere between the 19th and the 25th. So this is an open invitation to any within driving range of Seneca Falls/Waterloo, NY area who are interested in participating in a month-to-month campaign. This will be a Roleplaying Game with emphasis on the story and roleplaying. Naturally there w
  4. The Goon™ Roleplaying Game is based on the multiple Eisner Award-winning comic, The Goon™, by Eric Powell. Feast them peepers on a samplin' of what we got lined up for ya in this 192-page extravaganza: * A guide to the Town's mean streets and deadly secrets * New Edges and Hindrances so your character can toughen up and be like Goon * Setting Rules to help you bring the comedy and tragedy of Goon and Franky's pulp-noir world to life * An adventure generator full of ideas to help build your own Goon™ stories * An unholy pack of shock-inducing Grievous Yarns (Savage Tal
  5. I've been playing roleplaying games since 1977, and I have seen some things. RPG games are a great way to get to know people, sometimes better than you wanted to. It gives an insight into their thinking, as well. As most of you who know me, in person or by text on a screen, could figure out, I play RPGs for the STORY. I'm a person who enjoys immersion in a narrative, playing a character, building a world and a gripping moment... and poking my head out a little later and oh, my, it's been nine hours, who's chipping in for pizza? Lot of people like that. Others play for different reasons. W
  6. Just wondering how many people use Bones to play D&D? I've pretty much just made an entire dungeon diorama as well as some landscape. Planning on using it for some type of D&D game. Honestly I haven't figured out the kinks of how it's going to be played yet, but I'll get there.
