  1. As has been a theme this year, the minis I manage to paint will all count towards the resolutionary challenge. As per the resolutionary painting challenge guidelines, I will post them here, and link in my post in the challenge thread. Some super fast Night Terrors from Shadows of Brimstone: City of the Ancients today. I chose to paint them close to the "official" paint scheme. These monsters are more or less the most "normal" looking monsters in the SoB games. Large humanoid and shaggy, black as night, they strike from the darkness of the mine tunnels. And quite scary in game as well, bein
  2. This month I am at the Mountains of Minis, delving them with gusto, having done mould-line carving, scrubbing, boiling, assembling etc a large portion of the roughly 20-ish minis I got in the Bones 2 shipment. And sacrificing the required amounts of fingerblood, of course. At any rate, what few minis I actually get around to painting this month will all go into the resolutionary challenge total. As per the resolutionary painting challenge guidelines, I will post them here, and link in my post in the challenge thread. When I paint I usually end up with several blobs of unused paint left
  3. Continuing my March resolutionary challenge, I am doing something about squads, teams or units. As in squads I have started (i.e. done a test piece) but not completed. I seem to have rather a lot of them cluttering up the shelving. As per the resolutionary painting challenge guidelines, I will post them here, and link in my post in the challenge thread. So this weekend I have completed the unit of 6 Stranglers. 5 new ones to go with the first. No prizes for those who spot what the colour schemes are inspired by...
  4. Continuing on with the Febuary challenge goals I set myself, (painting at least one of each from the following categories: Reaper Bones, Oathsworn, All Quiet of the Martian Front, Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40.000, Kings of War, Deadzone, DreadBall, Mars Attacks, Shadows of Brimstone, Sedition Wars, Drake, Grendel Productions something or other, and to finish something that currently stands around half-done on the shelf of shame), I have done a few minis over the weekend, As per the resolutionary painting challenge guidelines, I will post them here, and link in my post in the challenge th
  5. Hey all, I've decided to show off a little of what I've been working on lately. I got both kits of the Flying Frog Productions wild west horror game, Shadows of Brimstone in their Kickstarter. My group's been playing through the City of Ancients (unpainted) while I paint up the Swamps of Death minis. Since these will be stored in the original box without any real protection, I am not going to knock myself out with anything much above table quality, so you'll see mould lines and assembly gaps on these. Also the pics are a little darker than I wanted. My light box is a translucent file folder bo
