These two are also going to serve as a Savage and Swordsman for my Ranger's of Shadowdeep warband. Went with some NMM, some came out ok, other parts didn't. In the end I decided to leave as is, Since I want to move on and get to playing the games. And the Pair Thanks for any C&C you give.

I fell back to lurking of the forums again. So starting this year I decided to get back to painting and posting. Most of what I've done lately has been with gaming in mind. I wanted to try out Frostgrave Perilous Dark Solo campaign, so I decided to dual task my painting. I also wanted to play with a full group of painted figures for Zombicide Black Plague. Since I have already finished up all the zombies and Necromancer for the core game. Baldric looked like and excellent candidate for my Wizard. (well him or my 2 Necro's I've already finished, Shh....). I decided to try to keep as close to the box art as I could. Here is my Baldric. Thanks for looking and any C&C you feel inspired to give.

Well, awhile ago I started making some terrain for my Frostgrave Dark Alchemy solo mini campaign. Longish story....Then squirrels happened. I then decided not to wait to finish my terrain, and just go with what I had made and not painted. I'll nether confirm nor deny that I also used Lincoln Logs to make wall to fill out that first board (and there are no picture left to prove it). That round went well. I then managed to finish up building the hirst arts wizard tower in a ruined form. Next round went way worse... TPK. You take 4 character and your wizard or apprentice. They all got taken out by a series of bad dice rolls. The bad dice roll continued and I failed all my survival rolls for the characters in that mission. Well I decided I really wanted to finish this piece so here is a thread showing the before painting it. Here is some shots of built with my now deceased WIzard, who is roughly the same size as Sir Forscale.

I can't believe I haven't posted anything here since October. Well I managed to finishes some Zombicide mini's back in February. Camera went and broke on me so I've been procrastinating on taking show offs with my cellphone. But I decided I might as well. Here is my Grom from Zombicide. He's was a promotional figure with I got with the Kickstarter. He was painted up to be a gaming piece. I tried to keep to the art work somewhat. Thanks for any C&C you feel to give.

Ok, Here I go starting another WIP. I had the hankering for Frostgrave only no one around who wanted to try. So I decide to finally give the Dark Alchemy solo scenarios a try. I had skeletons, rats, and a stand-in for the alchemical monstrosity. I looked around and thought, hey those WWWOZ Tin man painted up red and gold would look cool as the FIre-Flingers for the final scenarios. I also decided I only wanted to paint them as gaming pieces. I haven't really posted anything cause my camera broke, and I really haven't wanted to pick up another. So I'm starting this WIP to practice with my phone camera, as well as post here a little more often. Here was the first of four I need for the scenario, as it stands at the moment. Photo work still in progress as well: Unfortunately, I had a TPK in scenario 2. The scenario called for Wizard or Apprentice and 4 of soldiers for the mission. They all went down, and I rolled unbelievable less than 5 for all of them on the survival roll. I'm less than inspired to complete these guys now. but I'll carry on and hope that the apprentice can survive the final encounter with whats left of the warband when I finish.

Hello everyone, Once again I am starting a new project. To not disturb the continuation of the story, I put the remarks and so on into spoiler boxes. Thanks to @malefactusand @Silvervanefor supporting my idea and providing first feedback, Thanks to @Glitterwolfand @Cyradisfor further support And to @OneBoot, @buglips*the*goblin and @Chaoswolf for listening to my first attempt. Without further ado – let’s go! Chapter I The story of a village begins A girl heads out for adventure Once upon a time there was a village named Silvervane, founded on the edge of a rich silver deposit. Everyone thought that this small and obscure town would soon rise to glory and greatness. A place where to all of the Earth’s kindred would pilgrim. A center of commerce and diplomacy for a quarter of a million humans and creatures from all over the world. It was not long after this promising beginning, that the Imperial Academy of Land Surveillance measured the true size of the deposit and issued a report to the Imperial Throne, stating that the natural resource was of no significance for the great needs of the country. This country, as we will soon learn, was called Cyradis and its ruler, the Crimson Empress, decided the fate of Silvervane. The anticipated Great Silver Rush never happened and therefore Silvervane fell into the dark, bitter maw of oblivion. Soon, the village was of no importance anymore and its residents – all the people who didn’t want to leave or couldn’t go – had to adapt with their new situation. Being isolated by great forests to the west and the south, a deep and stormy sea to the east and high mountains to the north, they were trapped, an enclave of human life in the middle of nowhere. It was no easy existence for those left behind. Land had to be taken from the Malefactus, the Evil Forest that bore all kinds of creepy creatures; weird trees and plants, armies of strangely talking mushrooms and other unspeakably fantastic and eerie beings. To counter the dreads of nature, the villagers hired warriors. Fine and athletic men and women with adventurer bodies, not those puppets or models one would expect in such a situation. No bodybuilders or mannequins. They were real and they were spectacular. Some of them were dressed in weird clothes though. Chainmail bikinis for example. But that is a fact we can ignore here as the really important values of a human being are the inner ones. One of those fighters was Sana, a young barbarian woman from the high north, who was very fond of her inner values. She had a great heart, and as great hearts need a lot of space, her chest was quite ample, too. On top of that, her liver … well … let’s forget about her liver. Originally Sana was supposed to be the main character of this record but due to her constant drunkenness, unbelievably violent and rude behavior and the fact that all sorts of people complained about her rather simple clothing, the Imperial Academy of Written Tradition and Oral Lore had to reassess the situation. Therefore she will not be participating other than as a secondary character. But: Sana had a daughter. Only the great gods know how that happened, but it did – around twelve years before the beginning of this piece of history. From her early ages on, Barbaria seemed to be a very energetic child. There and back again, she roamed the lands, wandering through the forests and the grasslands, exploring mountains and battling aggressive waves at the sandy beaches of the Sea of Lethe. Yes. Barbaria was always on the road. Standing still and waiting was not her thing. She couldn’t just sit in the tavern and drink until she fell asleep roaring like a copulating dragon – something her mother had mastered long ago. And so the girl once again headed out, taking one of the axes of Al, the old woodcutter (a really big tool of destruction measuring almost her own height and weighting approximately seven pounds) and leaving Silvervane for the sake of catching a Glitterwolf. No one had ever seen such a creature or even heard of it, but Barbaria was certain: the white cat behind the workshop of Sáthach, the weapons manufacturer, had told her the truth when she described the wonderful and shimmering fur of this specific animal. Al asked her to stop. “She is an untrustworthy missy”, he warned the girl. But Barbaria felt she was on the right track. So she encouraged the faith of the old man: “I’ll get him”, and left with the big shiny axe on her shoulder. Her long, blond hair, the last of her to be seen before she disappeared into the woods. And what happened there will be told in the next chapter. ***

Well, I decided to start another WIP. This one a sort of Halloween theme. The Vampress Siobhana, Vampiress by reaper. Got some work done on her awhile ago and decided in the spirit of the season to try and finish her up. Unfortunately I couldn't remember exactly the method I painted up the face, so I got as close as I could on the legs and hands. Here's where she is at the moment. As always, any C&C is always welcome.

Well, we have my next installment in some townsfolk Adventuring Kids. Cuthem the Barbarian with a ummmm.... follower of sorts, Spire. The names were given by @SisterMaryNapalm in the WIP I have running for these little tykes. Spire was donated to the cause of this little scene by @malefactus. Love the stuff he makes. Scene Set if fiction by @SisterMaryNapalm "Who are you?" "Me? Ah - don't mind me. I am just an obscure bystander." "You are? You look like a big talking mushroom." "Yeah ... I mean ... what a nice axe you've got there. It's pretty sharp, isn't it?" "It is. You can chop a guy in half. That's not something you can do every day!" "Sounds like your favorite 80's action film." "What's that?" "Never mind. My name is Fungal Spire." "Barbaria Cutthem." Cutthem and Spire - the new show on Netflix WIP Here Thanks for Viewing my madness and any C&C you feel inspired to give.

Well, I finally have gotten around to starting up the Necromancer's from Zombicide: Black Plague. I could have started with the core Necro, but I felt inspired to start with Grin. Now I as I painted him up I had to constantly tell myself he's only for gaming. But I think he has some character. The game fiction has him being a Necromancer that failed at an attempt to bring out the dead, from a pesky adventurer. So I decided to give him a similar complexion to my zombies. Then I decided to attempt to give him some red lips to enhance his grin. In the end for a table top mini I think he came out ok. Though After painting him up I noticed a few spots I'll touch up. Then I though that he would have look cool painted up as a not-joker. *Sigh* Maybe someday I'll look to see if I can acquire another copy. Thanks for any C&C you feel inspired to give.

With the arrival of Zombicide Green Horde, I realized that I had yet to paint up any of the necromancers for the game. So I decided to start a new thread for these guys. I decided that instead of starting with the one that came with the core set, I would paint up another one called Grin. I had planned on just painting up a base coat today as I waited on the primer of another figure. Then I just kept going. Now the art for the figure has him with a very dark overall feel. The figure's backstory has it that he's half zombie from a failed ritual. So I Went with the zombie skin I had with the rest of the zombies. I then added in a warm brown to try to give him a little more life than a regular zombie. Looking at the image I think I need something else. Well here is the results of today's painting:

All these Zombies I've been working on lately have got me wanting to get to started something a little less speed painterly. So I decided to pick up my Christmas Elves from my reaper order over Christmas and get working on them. I got into the grove painting up the naughty elf so all I have is where she stands now. I liked how she was painted up in the store so I used that as my start. Here is how she looks at the start of the WIP: And of course here is the nice one patiently waiting in primer to be started:

Well over Minivember I had high hopes of great accomplishments. For me that entailed finishing more than one mini, 30 hopefully. Well, I failed to achieve that. I did however manage to start and finish another Zombicide mini (more actually, but they will be in another post). He was a relatively quick paint for me, and with the idea of table top. I gave the Tamiya Clear Red a try for the blood effects. I like the effect just not execution. Well with out furthur fanfare or words and such, is my Zombicide Abomination. Thanks for any C&C you feel inspired to give.

Here is my collection of Zombicide Black Plague Notoriusly Plagued Character volume 1 I've been working on for the past few months. I now am a bit sadened that I didn't get in on the NPC's 2 as well in the KS. I did go with anything to fancy. In fact, I went straight off the artwork. I left off the blood and gore as well, though now that I got some of the Tamiya Clear Red I think I might slowly begin to bloody these up. Lets start with a group shot of the lot. Now a tease with the frisky one of the bunch. Don't get to excited she can be found chaperoned with this rather dour lady. Next up we have a traveler to these parts, who is quite eager to meet you. His traveling companion is a more on the grim side and keeps his enthusiasm in check. Lastly we have a gentlemen that is rather irate that his current return customers. Ah well, there is no pleasing some people Thanks for any C&C you feel inclined to give.

Ok I decided to give this a go, with no expectations of actually succeeding. Also, rather than spam @SparrowMarie thread I thought I start my own. Day 1 and Day 2 were me painting up 2 of 5 Bones Ghast in an attempt at using the shaded basecoat method. Each took about 2-3 hours and I didn't clean up one much. I then decided that they need a better base so I threw the 5 on a base and added some sand and stone to the existing base. I then decided that I wont include painting the base in my modification to the challenge. Day 1 and Day 2: Day 3: Today I didn't get much time. And tommorrow I will not get any time. So I started some of the Massive Darkness chest's. I also finished sealing up 8 more chests that I finished up last month and 4 of the last 8 Zcide NPC's I need to finish. Here is all I got done. Thanks for following along in this attempt to force me to paint fast and free.

Well, I had started Hirst Arts ruined field stone tower in an attempt to build terrain for Frostgrave. After building some of the wall section, I had a bit of a Cat-trastophy with them. My cat decided those pieces would look better on a cement floor... in pieces. Since I posted in the September goals thread that I want to try and finish the building of the tower this month I thought I would post where I was in my progress. Be warned, my skill are very lacking, as there are several uneven level, but it is a ruined tower. There are going to be three level inside the tower that are being pressed in an attempt to keep them level. Here is a shot of the pieces apart. I'll be more than happy to take any advice.

Well, I finally got around to finishing this young fella. Didn't see table use but the two fighter types did for a quick encounter in Hero Kids (Light) to introduce my two nephews to gaming while babysitting them. Maybe next round. Here we go with the Kid Wizard from Reaper's Adventuring Kids pack #1. Thanks for looking and any C&C you feel like sharing. Always appreciated.
