  1. Howdy, Last one I swear... More game pieces to come, Kev! P.s. Khaki triad on the belly!
  2. Howdy, Why does it always have to be snakes? Xiexie, Kev! P.S. Click, if you dare...
  3. Howdy, Also painted during Paint Club at Reaper HQ... Thank you, Kev!
  4. This is Marshalla Sylvie from Freebooter Miniatures. In my Lost World she is Bonita, Half Pirate / Half Snake. I gave painted her base as if she was on driftwood in the water. Had fun with the Snake part and tried a little sheer on her blouse. WIP and Lost World Stories here http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/69308-lost-world-project-glitterwolf-paints-coldblooded-creatures-and-conquistadores/&page=103 Enjoy:
  5. Cobra finished, liked the model alotta, so it moved up on the "to-do ladder". It's 90% airbrush, just started using one, so very happy with it. Base is from scibor
  6. This is called TANITH's AWAKENING. A sideproject from my Lost World Project. It was born due to @knarthex's daughter Alsnia, showing a pic of a cute python with flowers on it's head. Then @Pezler the Polychromatic made up a little story in my Lost World Project. I had already seen a great Serpent Goddess statue in a thread from @Chris Palmer and after some suggestions from @malefactus and @Chaoswolf things really got out of hand. More forumites commented and suggested stuff. Anyway here it is. The Ananconda and the Python are plastic toys.
  7. As November's Hangout Figure of the Month, we picked Medusa 77037/02833. Now, because of boobs, I can't share most of my pics of her. However you can see them at my blog: Part 1 Part 2 At this point I just need to touch up a few spots, flock the base, and she's done!
  8. Here is one I did last week and I thought I would put it on here, I searched around at other attempts at it and decided to have a stab at it. I don't know if I should have censored this because her top half is naked but I did see that it looks like the moderator removes the image if it is not okay. Apologies if there is any offence. I found this figure really hard to do as there was lots going on with bangles and arms plus I have no idea how to do scales. I have next to no idea about highlighting as you can tell and I am just learning through trial and error so here goes. ( oh and
  9. I painted these two lovely Snakemen from Reaper as part of my Lost World Reptilian Army. WIP and Story of the Lost World here: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/69308-lost-world-project-glitterwolf-paints-coldblooded-creatures-and-conquistadores Here are the troops:
  10. Greetings folks! Sssssssssssss, tabletop quality paintjob of the Giant Cobra from the Bonesssssssssss 3 Kickssssssstarter! Thanks for looking!
  11. Time for the final pics to be posted here (those that I can anyhow). This is Queen Shaernagathu - I came up with this name as it's the 3 parts of the figure that I kit-bashed together to form this figure. The body of Queen Shaerileth, a tentacle from the well of doom and the snake bottom half from I don't know which snake or creature or even if it was a reaper figure, I found all 3 parts in the melt bin during ReaperCon 2016. I was going to hold off posting and enter her into the 2017 Massive Voodoo water base challenge, but it was pointed out to met that she doesn't qualify due to
  12. While at ReaperCon 2016, I hit up the melt bin and found 3 distinctly different parts of 3 different figures. The first one was torso of 03465: Shaerileth, Spider Demoness, the second was a snake's tail (not sure from what or even if it's Reaper let me know if you know what it is!) and the third looks like it's a tentacle from the 02634: Well of Doom. These are NSFW due to the nude portion of the top of the figure and so I'll link to my Facebook pics that I've posted up. Here's the pieces as I pulled them from the melt bin. Pic 1 - all separate Pic 2 - test fitted using museum p
  13. I'm covering this in my Lost World Project also. However since this is basically a Terrain Piece/Diorama thingie, I decided to make a separate WIP as well. So those who are only interested in terrain and such will also see it. It all started when @knarthex his daughter Alsnia posted a pic of her Pet Snake. Then @Pezler the Polychromatic made up a background story See my WIP page 65 http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/69308-lost-world-project-xherman1964-paints-coldblooded-creatures-and-conquistadores/&page=65 @malefactushas always
  14. I painted 14471 Somchai, in my Lost World Project he is called Sssuuchooi. WIP and Story here: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/69308-lost-world-project-xherman1964-paints-coldblooded-creatures-and-conquistadores/ I had a lot of fun painting this guy, hope you like him, Based on a Tabletop Art Resin Base.
  15. So, I rarely post any of my work in the forum. I've not painted anything most of this year, and just got back to it. So here's the third post of my last few weeks. Not just lurking this week. I decided the next project was to paint up some Yuan-ti as villains for my friend's new Dark Sun campaign. I had a serviceable pre-painted one to use the other week, but the GM hinted that these guys were going to be coming up more as we dug further into the story. So, I dug out the snake men from my Kickstarter pile and painted them up. I was just going to try some quick and dirty tabletop colors o
  16. Finished the last model in my Tyranid army for now. All hail the King and Queen. :)
  17. Clearing stuff off my desk. Finally finished a pair of the mariliths that have been sitting on my shelf for months. All the arms on these figures reminded me of paintings of Indian gods. So that's what I went for in upper body. The lower bodies are inspired by two distinctive patterns I found when I googled for cobras: the King Cobra (Miss Blue) and the Indian/Speckled Cobra (Miss Purple). I believe that cropping the front photos is in line with forum rules on nudity. Please let me know if I have misunderstood.
  18. I give you Sssllthr the latest recruit for my Army of the Lost World. WIP: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/69308-army-of-the-lost-world-xherman1964-paints-coldblooded-creatures/
  19. This is The Amphisbaena, which I originally painted up the other night to go along with Draco the Barbarian, but I reversed course when I remembered that the main contest that I'm going to enter Draco into at Reapercon (for Ares Mythologic) needs to have their figures and not mainly have other manufacturers in any diorama/vignette that I build. So I'll go ahead and add this to an already created base and another Conan barbarian that I have. This was part of the most recent Temple of Set IGG campaign and what is even cooler about this snake is that it was sculpted by Andy (TaleSpinner)!
  20. I painted this guy up real quick tonight in about three hours. He'll be slashing at player characters tomorrow!
  21. I finished up the Bones 1 KS "Bedeviled" set this week with the completion of Vandorendra, Snake Demon. I enjoyed the opportunity to experiment with a non-caucasian, yet realistic skin tone, (as opposed to the blue, red, and green I've done recently). Photo is linked due to nudity. As always, C & C welcome. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-p0izIXXhPi4/VqX3ncfI2wI/AAAAAAAAHnM/tddsBCrewx0/s1600/IMG_6174.jpg
  22. Since more people are showing off what they did last year, here are mine: Minis I painted in 2015. ( seems I have been busy) I will link them so you can check them out. http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/66228-54mm-maria-roseblade-pirate-queen-by-xherman1964/ http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/65908-pumpkin-witches-and-their-house-by-xherman1964/ http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/65484-legendarion-hyena-warrior-bust-gebhuza-by-xherman1964/ http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/64977-zombicide-survivor-dog-painted-as-my-boxer-brutus-
  23. This is the second version of the Razorspine Rattler from Wyrd Miniatures (SKU 20315). Its kinda unsettling looking, kinda wyrd in fact I practiced washes on this thing, it ended up with not enough contrast in the end, so I had to lighten it up on top using highlights, at least it was a good exercise. The spikes were a real pain, so many of them! And after it was finished one of the cats knocked it to the floor, amazingly even if the model broke in one spot, none of the spines broke. I guess that plastic is stronger than it looks.
  24. Hi all, I recently finished my first commission of Vandorendra, Snake Demon & thought I'd show it off here. The pictures contain reptillian nudity so I have linked them to an external site. Vandorendra front Vandorendra left Vandorendra back Vandorendra right Thanks for looking!
  25. This guys were fun (and quick) to paint up. Snake on the right is a Indian Cobra as the sculpt intends. (The white on the hood follows the shape sculpted in.) Snake on the left is roughly a spotted viper. I converted the cobra by chopping of its hood, but should have just shorten the hood and added some green stuff to the remaining bit of hood to give it a wide face.
