Presenting the Skeletal Guard Captain (He has a name but I can't find it) from the game Warhammer Quest:- Cursed City by Games Workshop. Rather pleased with this one, particularly his cape! As always any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

It was a very busy summer (and into the fall), so I didn't get a lot of painting done. But here are the Bones Black Hell Hounds (#44100). Or the Hell's Frozen Over Hounds as I've painted them. Here is the Reaper Dungeon Dweller Unicorn (#07047). He was a test run of Turbo Dork's Mother Lode paint. It has a mother of pearl sheen in person, but it is very hard to capture in a picture. And the Bones Classic Silverhorn Unicorn, #77029. He was an experiment with Reaper Black Pearl paint. And finally, Ian the Ivy Crown Mage. Warlord #14544.

Here are some of the figures I painted in July. Here is Lonnia, female duelist. DHL #2981. Here is Edmund DuMond. DHL #2775. With his puffy shirt, he looked like a landsknecht to me. And here is Evalyn, female duelist. DHL #2801. And finally, Maria Roseblade. DHL #2645.

Hello All, Here is a 02370 metal Dark Heaven Legends "Luther Baldwin, Templar Knight" I completed yesterday. Thank you for looking.

Hello All, Here is a Bones Plastic 77467 "Rheagar, Male Fighter" miniature I completed last January. When I first started on this miniature it reminded me of a character from a certain 80's animated series that I enjoyed. I think it was the armor and shield that gave me that impression. So, I decided to paint it to match this character. My thought was that this is that character all grown up and having returned to the Realm. But after painting it, the face and hair reminded me more of two actors. Shemp from the 3 Stooges and Jon Bernthal from The Walking Dead and Punisher series. Thank you for looking.

Hello All, Here is one of my recent works. 89032 Pathfinder Bones "Anti Paladin" I wanted it to look like the shield was a living thing or a possessed item. Thank you for looking.

I painted this wraith as part of my Secret Sophie. I worked forever on the sword and it finally clicked and I ended up pretty proud of it.

Presenting the Frost Giant Heroine from Reaper. Not my best work, I'm still not great at getting all the mold-lines off these PVC minis, plus I was painting her to help work through some issues I was having so she's a bit on the rough and basic side. Was still a lot of fun to paint up though, I'll have to get the other one done now. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

Presenting Lysette, a mage from the Bones USA line by Reaper. Started on this one back in January, but got stuck on her dress so she spent a while in the Cupboard Of Unfinished Things. Unfortunately, my camera doesn't like her sky blue hair and it's really blown the colours out, she looks a tad better in hand. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

Presenting the Ram Pin-up from Kingdom Death, I imagine this is what quest-giving NPCs look like in that world, sketchy, half-naked dudes who always have one more dubious item for you to fetch before they'll let you have the promised fancy sword. I'm reasonably happy with how he turned out. He's a little rough in places, where my brush control wasn't quite up to the task, but I don't think I did too bad. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

My second miniature of the year. This one took me longer than expected but I think it came out okay. I like the heather blue and purple combo. I used a different sealer/varnish this time around and I like the finish a bit more than the brush on I used in the past.

Working on something new. I don't paint many large scale minis, so thought I'd make a thread. Like all the newer Kingdom Death holiday releases, you get a large display mini and a smaller gaming mini, in this case it's range regular Aya as some sort of adventuring barmaid. I made a little start to the larger Aya:- Working on her barrel as it will involve lots of messy drybrushing. So far the barrel has had a basecoat of Parasite Brown/Ochre Yellow, the barrel stand is a base of Parasite Brown/Scarlett Red and the fancy end is Bronze. It then all got a good coat of Brown Wash.

One of the three from #2550. Been a while since I've touched a paint brush. Tried to use up as much of my old Ral Partha paints from LOOOOOOOOOONG ago. I made zero attempt to make him pretty. But there wasn't enough to give him that LARP image at a renaissance fair.

Hello everyone, here are pictures of 02909, Nienna the elf ranger sculpted by Werner Klocke. I use that model in our still postponed D&D sessions. She's an half-elf named Vadariah. She had to flee her native village with her mother when it was attacked by Orcs. During their adventures, she became a very versatile young woman. She began her journey as a ranger and later became interested in stealthiness and sorcery. So, she's now a multi-class character; 3rd level ranger, 3rd level lightbringer rogue and 2nd level sorceress. Her familiar is a hawk, flying somewhere in the blue. I hope you'll enjoy.

Durgam Deepmug, one of several figures I picked at random to paint for table use during the early weeks of covid-19 lockdown. I tried a little magical/ ice effect on his sword.

Presenting Sir Shelly from Knightmare Games. Sometimes the path of Chaos offers great power, and sometimes you end up needing to stay constantly moist or you die. Really enjoyed painting this one, he's just so weird looking! Still can't paint gems though. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

Presenting Amiri, she's an Iconic Barbarian from Reapers Pathfinder line. Had this one a little while, but all the fiddly bits kept putting me off (and I normally like fiddly minis), she turned out to be super fun to paint though. As always any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

Presenting Remus Raducan, part of the Blood Wolf faction in Reapers Dreadmere setting. Struggled to find this guy that interesting to paint, and as a result he ended up a bit lacklustre. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

Field agents of the Inquisition, Crusaders are warriors trained in some of the finest military academies in the galaxy. They provide any group they are assigned to a wealth of knowledge and experience, and a worrisome reminder that the Inquisition is always watching. Presenting Hugo the Crusader, a character class from Warhammer 40k by Games Workshop (this particular one is from the Blackstone Fortress standalone game). This one proved quite tricky, made the classic mistake of getting him assembled and based before checking to see if I could actually get into all his nooks and crannies. He turned out quite good though. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

Hi everyone, here's 07002, Baran Blacktree, Veteran Warrior sculpted by Bobby Jackson. I painted it with Reaper’s MSP acrylics and shaded with Citadel inks. Also, I use Vallejo Acrylic Matt Varnish for the first time on this model. I like that varnish, it's perfectly flat and don't add any artificial reflection. I 3d printed the base to match with the tiles on the diorama it will eventually be displayed on.

Presenting Volturnos, a character from the Idoneth (or Sea Elf) faction in the Warhammer:- Age of Sigmar game by Games Workshop. Not my best work, I struggled in quite a few places (particularly with the fish) so a lot of it has ended up being painted rather basically, even by my standards. But I did get it finished, so I'll count this as a partial victory. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.
