  2. As I hadn't seen a topic yet, I wanted to mention a Kickstarter project I'm really excited to have been part of testing for, The Skyless Realms: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ecaroth/the-skyless-realms-3d-printable-tabletop-models/description Welcome to "The Skyless Realms" - a dark, dangerous place below ground - full of all the most evil races of the world - where everything is trying to kill you, and both grand adventure and extreme peril await! Enrich your tabletop RPG or wargaming experience with 3D print-ready minis, monsters, terrain, and buildings fr
  3. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/terrain4print/terrain4print-ulvheim? About This project aims to expand the Ulvheim ruin into a full featured ruin city for your home 3D printer. You can already download the first two releases from thingiverse for free. There is also an earlier release with smaller houses, also available for free. Click the image to see them. Previous Ulvheim releases The pledge rewards are STL-file downloads. I will share the files with Dropbox and the download will be available for years. If you have access to a 3D printer you ca

  7. Been working pretty steadly though bad about keeping up pics! Did these guys (mostly done) in January. They are GW minis from the Battle at Pelennor Fields Lords of the Ring starter set. I started on these guys closer to end of the month, as well: They're for my Luna Wolves, first guy is the Terminator sarge (which I'm painting along with some other terminators from the Burning of Prospero box set) This guy is a resin cast Apothecary from FW I bought off ebay - he's got a pretty bad mold slip along one leg, b
  8. Citadel for 3D Printing on Kickstarter Review with test prints at Haldane Creations Funded and many stretchgoals Open
  9. Recently finished up this mini for a 5e character I made recently (Wood Elf Rogue). The slot base connector snapped during the prep stage, so I decided to rebase the mini and add some leaves as custom terrain (painted birch seeds).
  10. After painting the Cavern tiles, I am feeling ambitious (and avoiding work) so I am going to try and paint these tiles too. I bought these two sets from eBay a while back and one came painted (albeit pooryl), the other unpainted. I think I will leave the painted ones as is and attempt to finish the unpainted today. It is a race before my gaming group shows up to play board games in four hours.
  11. Made up these market stalls and goods from Mantic Terrain Crate range. There were the well documented problems with the spindly supports to the stalls being completely bent. Hot water didn't fix the bigger stall so I had to stick additional supports on to it as a frame, made from matchsticks and mdf sprues. Enjoyable painting up the tiny goods on display though and overall would still recommend product. Would be interesting to see something like it in Bones.
  12. Hello all! Here are a few pics of my second official terrain project. It's a castle/boss chamber, I suppose. I didn't really have anything in mind when I started building it; I was just fooling around with my new molds, tinkering with dry stacking. This eventually emerged. I built it using Hirst Arts molds and bits from both Reaper and Mini Monsters. The Reaper parts are Large Sarcophagus (77540) and parts from Magic Treasures II and III. I made the flags from salad container plastic and various bits; one of these days I would like to go back and paint more detailed flags and repla
  13. I realized I hadn't quite had enough terrain for small villages, and with a large amount of the Rangers of Shadow Deep having cottages and houses as objectives/scenario focuses, I thought I'd print out a few more. A burninated cottage from The Lost Dragons A frozen cottage, also from The Lost Dragons A Dwarven House, from Printable Scenery: Viking Houses and Tents from Terrain4Print:
  14. I have a few pieces I recently acquired, and intend to get a villagers pack that has more. Starting with the deep cuts barrels. 1 oak, 1 mahogany, 1 intense leather?
  15. Since Bryan has shut down the Basius 2 Kickstarter thread and asked that we continue any discussion with how to use these Stamp Pads in the Craft Section. I've opted to go ahead and open this thread. This is a group/open thread for us to learn how to use our pads and obtain best practices with all the different kinds of basing materials that are available to us. Please feel free to share how you did something (with pictures) and what material(s) you used. Keep off-topic chatter to a minimum so that the thread doesn't get out of control. Most of all... Have fun! First off, the
  16. These are a bit of resin terrain from Ainsty Castings in the UK, Fire Hydrant x2 Different Based, SKU 8205. They were really simple to paint. The gravel is molded on. They might be a smidgen oversized. Here's a scale shot with a figure:
  17. I thought I would start my own Frostgrave terrain thread, since I started on my second ruin this week, and don't see my self stopping anytime soon. And, I didn't want to keep posting links in David's excellent Frostgrave terrain thread found here, http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/65272-frostgrave-terrain/ , and detract from his efforts. For those that missed it, I already posted my first ruin here in the Frostgrave thread in the Fantasy sub-forum: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/63635-frostgrave/?p=1252554 This week, I thought I'd take things to another level and
  18. I got some backup cat dishes at IKEA for a couple of bucks. They came with free foam pucks that would normally cost a few dollars on their own at a place like Michael's
  19. I haven't completed much since Reapercon, but I have been working on some 3d terrain my husband made for me. All I know about the well is that it came from Thingverse. Doors from a KS I backed: Anther Thingaverse thing, and Reaper Gravestone of Protection.

Greg needed a solution for how much space the terrain collection he’d built over the years needed, and how long it took to set up. Inspiration came from an unlikely source; in his own words, “One night I was watching Blazing Saddl
