  1. Clorehaven & the Goblin Grotto, via @Kickstarter https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/printablescenery/clorehaven-and-the-goblin-grotto The picturesque town of Clorehaven A lively tavern, a variety of interesting and useful stores and fine lodgings is all the weary adventurer could ask for. The locals seem polite and friendly. The beautiful stone and wood buildings tell you this small town is prosperous and will someday grow into a much larger city. But under the surface of the town, Clorehaven keeps a dark and foreboding secret. Beneath the neat hedgerows and well-kept homes there lies a sprawling complex of caverns. The deep goblins are a sniveling race of green-skins, plying their trade in the strange flora and fauna they gather from around mysterious pools. Design and build your own medieval buildings using the Clorehaven OpenLOCK system. From simple houses to huge complex structures, anything is possible. Explore the Goblin Grotto using the modular Grotto cavern system. Walls and floors can be combined to create a huge variety of underground caverns or above ground structures. Who knows what’s in store for those above and what lies in the depths below. Clorehaven and the Goblin Grotto - By Printable Scenery - the best 3D printable scenery in all the worlds. All the models from Clorehaven & the Goblin Grotto are delivered as optimized STL files to print on home 3D printers. If you take the All-In Pledge, you also receive the free bonus items. Clorehaven Pledge : Clorehaven is constructed using the OpenLOCK tile system where quality detailed modular and functional buildings can be constructed in any shape and size whilst maintaining the true 1" grid system used for most role playing games. This pledge contains the models to build the Townhouse, Cottage, Homestead, Grand Hostel, Cabin, Tavern, Chalet, Watchtower and Schist Stone Fences. The Clorehaven Pledge includes the stretch goals labelled Clorehaven. As the Kickstarter progresses the free stretch goals will grow and expand Clorehaven from a town into a city. Goblin Grotto Pledge: The free form caverns create natural and expansive cavern maps and tunnel systems quickly and dynamically. The cavern floors are designed to have a comparable 1" grid system for RPG whilst still maintaining the natural rock form. PLAY This pledge contains the Moon Effigy, the Goblin Cavern Floors, The Cavern Walls, The Cavern Tunnels, the Cavern Bridge, Rickety Bridges and the Gloom Creeper. The Goblin Grotto Pledgeincludes the stretch goals labelled Goblin Grotto. All of our 3D-printable models begin their life as hand drawn concepts. From there we digitally sculpt the models to create high detail STL files. The models are test printed and painted before released so that you know each model from Printable Scenery will print perfectly. Printable Scenery created the OpenLOCK system in 2016. Since then it has become the standard. Its innovative seamless locking system revolutionized dungeon system. Printable Scenery open-sourced the design and it allows for free commercial use to third party designers such as Open Forge. The Free Stretch Goals are a big part of our Kickstarters. The more stretch goals we hit, the more models you will get. So join us in this grand adventure and discover the stretch goals beyond. The bonus items listed below are free with the All-In Pledge. If you want an add-on you need to add the amount to your pledge or you can add it in the pledge manager at the end of the campaign. Note: If you want to get Add-Ons but not any of the main pledges then you can make a pledge for the amount for the Add-Ons only. To do this: 1. Select 'Back this Project' 2. Select '$1 or more - Add-Ons Only' 3. Enter the amount for the Add-Ons. Once the campaign closes you will be sent a link to the pledge manager to select the add-ons that you picked. Ruined Winterdale II Add-On NZ$30 Back by popular demand, the Ruined Winterdale II Add-On contains 5 never before ruined buildings. To claim this add-on package you need to add the amount NZ$30 to your pledge or you can add it in the pledge manager at the end of the campaign. Dungeon Booster Add-On NZ$50 The Dungeon Booster Add-on contains walls and floors that are designed to boost your Rampage dungeon encounters. To claim this add-on package you need to add the amount NZ$50 to your pledge or you can add it in the pledge manager at the end of the campaign. Previous Kickstarter add-ons are bundled items that have been requested by backers from previous campaigns. Click on the links below to see the list of models that are part of each Add-On. (eg. the Lost Tribes contains 13 models)
  2. This is just something that's been on the SoS for an embarrassing amount of time. Finally making the effort to finish it up and move on. Materials are corrugated cardboard on a base of stiff cardboard/MDF. Rebar from paperclips. Rocks, gravel, and sand, and a straw for the pipe. Spray primed with black, wet brushed with gray hobby paint. Next will be some highlights and a wash, some vegetation, and done. Reaper Bones skelie for skale! Pardon the rigged light box--lots of other house projects have my hobby room crammed with crap at the moment.
  3. Hi everyone, Lately I've been using throw-away plastic bits like blister packs and sauce cups as molds to make plaster buildings. It's a pretty cheap way to get a lot of buildings and once you start collecting things to use as molds you'll be amazed at what's out there. https://youtu.be/Yvmb6F_2ivw
  4. And since there are never enough terrain projects, I thought I'd give this one a mention. Supposedly everything prints without supports too. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/warlayer/warlayer-3d-printable-terrain-0?ref=section-homepage-view-more-recommendations-p1
  5. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/718310363/28mm-mayan-pyramid/description Oh, @Glitterwolf !!! Paging WOOF! So, this is .. .terrain? Some armies? With optional C'thulu thrown in for good measure. I know nothing about anybody involved, YMMV.
  6. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/monstergaming/monster-adventure-terrain-3d-customizable-dandd-world-builder First created but looks cool.
  7. Also did a quick speed paint of two statues. Not sure were the other column is at the moment, but this one was out while I was painting the angel of death so it got paint too. She fit very snuggly into that base. I'm debating whether or not she'll stay in it. The pair. Also the angel without the base.
  8. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/axenshield/axe-n-shield-premium-terrain-risers-elevate-your-g/description 3d terrain elevation risers, made to work with Dwarven Forge and other systems like it. Looks really interesting and very dynamic on a table. Good for hold up flying minis too.
  9. Well, awhile ago I started making some terrain for my Frostgrave Dark Alchemy solo mini campaign. Longish story....Then squirrels happened. I then decided not to wait to finish my terrain, and just go with what I had made and not painted. I'll nether confirm nor deny that I also used Lincoln Logs to make wall to fill out that first board (and there are no picture left to prove it). That round went well. I then managed to finish up building the hirst arts wizard tower in a ruined form. Next round went way worse... TPK. You take 4 character and your wizard or apprentice. They all got taken out by a series of bad dice rolls. The bad dice roll continued and I failed all my survival rolls for the characters in that mission. Well I decided I really wanted to finish this piece so here is a thread showing the before painting it. Here is some shots of built with my now deceased WIzard, who is roughly the same size as Sir Forscale.
  10. Here's a bunch of quickie terrain from Bones 4.
  11. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/games06/easy-dungeon-seamless-magnetic-dungeon-tiles?ref=discovery About The Easy Dungeon is designed to make the gaming experience realistic, fun and engaging without having to spend a lot of money to do it. All this while keeping faith with the fundamental principle of role playing: never knowing what will be a few steps ahead! With the Easy Dungeon system you can build corridors, alleys, rooms progressively as the DM unravels the adventure. Here follows the pledges and the add-ons you can select. If unlocked, you'll also receive all the free stretch goals related to the pledge you choose.
  12. I'm generally bad at terrain. So I decided to challenge myself. I painted the obelisk as a dark stone and the octopus on top as a green stone with cabochon eyes. I even went fancy and attempted to put some red glow/liquidity to the runes on the obelisk. I... don't remember painting those eyes like they're glowing... Wait, is that the camera's fault? Did... Um... It... appears my cell phone camera had a hard time focusing on such immense evil... Yes, that must be it. Here's a better pic of the runes. Yes, there we go. As soon as those eyes aren't looking at the camera it focuses just fine
  13. I bought into the recent Terrain Crate Kickstarter; getting the Dungeon Crate, and the Battlefield Crate, along with the Dark Lord's Tower set. My Terrain Crate shipment arrived in the early Summer, and I immediately painted two of the large tents that came with the "Campsite" portion of the Battlefield Crate to use in a game I did at Historicon. Recently, I've been painting some of the "Abandoned Mine" stuff from the Dungeon Crate, as I am preparing for a game a friend and I are doing at Fall-In using our Tablescapes Dungeon Mines sets. I thought I'd start a thread to chronicle the pieces I paint, to help me keep track, and to help keep me motivated to keep plowing through. There's a lot of pieces! I hope to use a bunch of it in my Fall-In game, so have some motivation there as well. Big Tents: The Terrain Crate stuff goes great with the Tablescapes Dungeon Mines sets. Explosives: Tool Racks:
  14. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1280484354/world-of-twilight-the-crooked-trade-outpost/comments About It’s been 20 years since my first sketches of the diminutive fubarnii and this Salute will be the tenth anniversary of the first Twilight releases! Over those two decades I’ve visited large areas of Anyaral and we now have well over 100 unique playable units for the game (not to mention all the different variants, civilians and a wide variety of critters...), all in the usual World of Twilight scale (roughly 28mm). If you are new to Anyaral, then I recommend you go and visit the World of Twilight website to find out more! Over the last year I’ve continued with the normal range, but I’ve also had a play with something slightly different, and that is where I need your help! Legends of Anyaral is a random little side project that will let me play with big buildings and creatures that simply wouldn’t work in the usual scale. I took the very simplistic approach of sculpting everything half the usual size, which effectively makes it a 15mm range. The first sculpt I did was of a piece of Fubarnii architecture that I sketched during Inktober 2017; the Crooked Trade Outpost. "Crooked" from Inktober 2017 "We paused our travels briefly at the crooked tower of Geliad. I had initially assumed the tower was on the brink of collapse, but was assured by the locals that it was all part of their local engineer's eccentric but deliberate design! It now serves as an outpost where traders rest before braving the Moerasii marshes. We were fortunate enough to see a domesticated lorsaan being loaded with baggage. It never ceases to amaze me that such behemoths wander our lands." I wanted to create the building, but figured it would be somewhat huge in the usual scale! Instead, I halved all the dimensions, making it a much more manageable 135mm in height. Having sculpted the building I did of course need to sculpt the lorsaan to accompany it. Then a few little traders to look after the Lorsaan... Which gives a good insight into how Twilight has generally been created over the last twenty years! The Crooked Trade Outpost, painted by Joe Karame I’ve got a few other ideas I’d like to do in the Legends scale (the enarii, more huge beasts!), but it depends a lot how well this project is received. I have no current plans for any rules, although that could be very tempting! That's for the future though, this kickstarter is just about the Outpost :) Even in the smaller scale I wasn’t entirely sure how practical it would be to release the trade outpost, but the very talented Rob Huntley (Warploque) took it in hand and did an amazing job casting the tower as a single piece kit! I then worked with Rob Alderman and John Bryan to make some more production moulds that would make the set affordable to gamers as well as collectors. For this kickstarter most of the pledges will be cast by John Bryan, but I am also giving you the opportunity to get your hands on the Warploque master casts as a special collector's edition. I’m keeping everything about this campaign simple. The campaign will run for a short period and will be very focused. I’ve got a couple of ideas for extras and stretch goals (remember those traders I mentioned earlier...), but nothing that will delay delivery! As soon as the campaign is over I’ll get everything ordered and get the pledge manager open so I can start shipping as soon as Kickstarter release the funds. I’m sure many of you in Europe will be a bit apprehensive about Brexit. I can't make any promises as there isn't much time, but the plan is to get all European orders shipped first (hopefully before the end of March) with the orders to the rest of the world close on their heels! For this Kickstarter I’ve come up with a few simple pledges, so you can get the Lorsaan or the Crooked Outpost, or everything together. I've also put together a special Master Quality Collector's Set, which is the definitive collector's edition. The Collector's Set includes resin Warploque master casts of the Trade Outpost and the Lorsaan. Risks and challenges We've run three larger projects previously, so have a good grasp of the challenges involved! This project does involve a lot of individual resin casts, which I know can cause production delays. However, I’ve lined up the casters so I’m confident they’ll be able to deliver in time. The other concern is the impact Brexit might have on delivery for European backers, but we will do our best to get European orders out in advance, as long as details are provided efficiently. It's a small, short-time project, so hurry up to back it if you want it. Only 4 days left.
  15. Inarah

    chapel ruins

This started out as a variant of the gothic chapel, but sometime before completion it got dropped and broken. Possibly more than once, as there is a 2nd long wall that does not fit this model. Anyway, a couple weekends ago I found the box, glued parts back together and gave the paint a touch-up. Added some moss, vines, and grass to the base to spruce it up a bit. I gave it to my husband to use as a photo backdrop. The figures are some my husband painted.
  16. This is a test piece for some ruins I'm printing and assembling. I may have gone a bit overboard on the vines.
  17. There's some interesting things going on here based on the video Flexible yet durable easily customized with a hobby knife and special (? ) glue comparatively affordable. A better deal in the USA with free shipping. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/wayfarerterrain/wayfarer-terrain-a-3d-canvas-for-your-dungeon There's also the risk with a first time creation (perhaps somewhat mitigated by experience in manufacturing, just not in a personal business). So far it's small, but funded. They are also not the nicest looking tiles, but seem to paint up decently. I'm not backing, but somebody might want to? Would be curious to see these compared size wise to other popular tiles.

  22. As I hadn't seen a topic yet, I wanted to mention a Kickstarter project I'm really excited to have been part of testing for, The Skyless Realms: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ecaroth/the-skyless-realms-3d-printable-tabletop-models/description Welcome to "The Skyless Realms" - a dark, dangerous place below ground - full of all the most evil races of the world - where everything is trying to kill you, and both grand adventure and extreme peril await! Enrich your tabletop RPG or wargaming experience with 3D print-ready minis, monsters, terrain, and buildings from this deadly, subterranean landscape. Regardless of the tabletop RPG or wargame you play, doubtless you run across all denizens of the deep dark, and spend lots of time exploring the depths. This Kickstarter is designed to completely flesh out those environments with character minis, monsters, scatter, buildings and more for your to produce at home on your FDM or resin 3D printer. Rewards are for digital STL files to print the products shown and described in this campaign. Rewards are split into two categories: Scatter, and Minis - designed to be used together or independently, and all for normal tabletop gaming scale (28-32mm). ** PLEASE NOTE - This Kickstarter is for digital files (STLs) to make all these items on your own home 3D printer - these are not physical goods **
  23. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/terrain4print/terrain4print-ulvheim? About This project aims to expand the Ulvheim ruin into a full featured ruin city for your home 3D printer. You can already download the first two releases from thingiverse for free. There is also an earlier release with smaller houses, also available for free. Click the image to see them. Previous Ulvheim releases The pledge rewards are STL-file downloads. I will share the files with Dropbox and the download will be available for years. If you have access to a 3D printer you can print as many copies of the models as you like. You can also vary the scale for more variety. Any type of 3D printer works but FDM is the most economical. Most models will fit inside a 120x120mm print bed. Printed parts can then be painted. The separate pieces fit together using a clip, also printed. This way you can build several different configurations with the same printed parts. You can of course glue it together if you need extra stability. Clip system I have been making 3D printable terrain since 2016. I have done one kickstarter before. All files from that kickstarter are available in my store. But read on to the pledges before you buy anything there. I also have a Patreon page and all models done for that is released for free on thingiverse. This includes the previous three Ulvheim releases. As base goal, I will create these expansions that are compatible with earlier Ulvheim ruins (type B). Base goal 1 - Roof set This set gives you the ability to create roofs on your buildings. Not everything has to be ruined. You can with these models build complete buildings, from the smallest shed to the largest castle. The roofs will build up like stairs. There will of course be options for half ruined roofs. The roofs will be made to fit the Ulvheim A buildings. This is the smaller complete buildings. The images below is only very rough sketches showing what is possible. The base goal does not include roofs for L-shaped or T-shaped building. Nor is it possible to put roofs on the hexagonal tower etc. Whole modular roofs Modular roof ruin Base goal 2 - More wall variations Nothing beats variation and more options. Two new basic walls with lots of ruined options. One solid style and one arc style. Below are some sketches of possible layouts. The final layout is not decided yet. Solid wall sketches Arc walls sketches Base goal 3 - Corners for round towers Three new types of corners. With these you can build hexagonal, octagonal and decagonal towers (6, 8 and 10 sides). You will be able to build really high towers. There will be ruined options. The base goals does not include floors or roofs for these. Hexagonal and octagonal towers Base goal 4 - Horizontal ruins The solid walls are made into ruins where the cuts go more horizontal. So you can build a long jagged ruin wall. There will be a couple of variants, from the available solid walls. there will be transitions from whole walls. 3 solid walls made into horizontal ruins These are the pledge levels. Ulvheim supporter If you just want to cheer me on. I will send you a bunch (5) of Terrain4Print stickers. I will also create a unique sticker for this kickstarter and send you a bunch (5). Ulvheim worker If you are on a limited budget and only want a limited selection, this is for you. You will get the base goals and about one third of the unlocked stretch goals. These are STL-file downloads. Ulvheim settler This is the complete Ulvheim download at a reduces price for the first backers. You will get the base goals plus all unlocked stretch goals. These are STL-file downloads. There is a limited number of these so be quick. As a special thank you I will also send you a bunch of stickers. Ulvheim burgher This is the complete Ulvheim download. You will get the base goals plus all unlocked stretch goals. These are STL-file downloads. Ulvheim necromancer This the complete Ulvheim download plus all my old premium files (from the shop). You will get the base goals plus all unlocked stretch goals. As soon as the kickstarter payments are processed you will get a download link the the premium files. These are STL-file downloads. Ulvheim architect If you want me to create something custom from your specification, this is for you. Together we will work out the details. It can't be something huge or overly complicated but expect a handful of models. For instance, wall tiles with a special symbols. A couple of special statues or gargoyles. The files must match the general Ulvheim theme. I prefer to make these models available to Settlers, Burghers and Necromancers too. But if it is something special you want exclusively, it can be arranged. If you take this pledge, contact me and describe what you have in mind. This way we can agree on a reasonable level. As a special thank you I will also send you a bunch of stickers. Add on: Stickers I will create a unique set of stickers for Ulvheim. Supporters, Settlers and Architects will get them for free. Workers, Burghers and Necromancers have to add $10 to have them. Simply add $10 to your pledge. I will sort it out manually after the project is done. You will get 5 Terrain4Print stickers and 5 Ulvheim kickstarter stickers. There are lots of more stuff to make for this. This project will have stretch goals. The more pledges that come in, the more stuff will be made. The first three stretch goals are decided already. When they are unlocked, there will be more made available if there is enough interest. Since I reside in Sweden and use SEK (Swedish crowns) I present stretch goal as % instead. Stetch goal 1 - Battlements 133% (20k SEK) If you want to make a castle type building, playing siege scenarios. This will make it possible. It is basically a low wall with a strip of floor and battlement fitting around both convex and concave corners. The sketch below shows a corner piece for a convex corner. There will of course also be ruined battlements. Stairs made will fit against the battlements. Battlement sketch Stetch goal 2 - Windows 167% (also for workers) (25k SEK) Two new walls with smaller openings, like windows. This is a sketch of one of them. It will print in two parts, without support. It has a big arc. Inside it a thinner wall with two smaller arcs. The inside of the smaller arcs is open to make windows. Windowed wall Stretch goal 3 - Rubble piles 200% (30k SEK) Eight piles of rubble, big and small. Stones in various format, pieces of wood, broken statues etc. There will be round piles and also piles with one or two flat sides to fit against walls and corners. Two piles of rubble Possible stretch goals If the three stretch goals above are unlocked, we will have a vote on the next. Big set of stairs more elegant Floor set with wooden planks instead of stone Pillars Walls with door openings Relief walls Small balcony (from single wall) Big modular balcony Interior balcony Wall fountain Wall statue Wall with big gate Modular foundation to put everything on Cemetary set with walls, gate, tombstones and mausoleums Risks and challenges I have been creating 3D terrain for quite some time, including a previous successful Kickstarter as well as my many Patreon projects. I feel I have always delivered what I promise (and have often over delivered), however this is not my full-time job and so there exists the possibility that full delivery might take some time if all the stretch goals are unlocked. My aim is that the models will be delivered as soon as they are ready - so base goals should be on time with any of the work-in-progress stretch goals being released piecemeal upon their completion. Personal/work commitments are the only real challenge, but I have a very caring family that fully supports me and understands my passion for producing my 3D creations.
