  1. Since I have moved to Portland, I have FINALLY gotten my painting desk, and miniatures set up in front of a window. I've started working on them. My plan is to set up a royal tomb using 1000 year old oak tree bark, and two Tom Meirer elven guards. This is what I have done so far. I may have to build the tomb higher, and the placement of the guards is just to get them in the picture. Work in Progress. So this is my new beginning on the West Coast. Jay
  2. I thought this mini was going to be a piece of cake. Surprise. We have spent twelve days fighting it out. NOTHING was going to be easy on this one. Shadows were a bear, highlighting took much longer than I thought it was. Even basing (which I thought was going to come together easy fought me. So, after saying that, I am quite happy with the way this miniature turned out. Here is Tywin Lannister as I thought he should look like (remember, I don't look at television). Oh.. If you want to see the miniature in more detail: Hold down the CTRL key, and press the + key to enlarge the photo. Then Press the CTRL key plus the - key to return to your normal viewing. As always, your comments and critiques are welcomed, and sought after. Jay
