  2. Hello All, Here is a Bones USA 07034 "Grave Wraith" I completed last week. Thank you for looking.
  3. Hello All, Here is a "Dust King and Crypt" miniature set I completed a few weeks ago. Thank you for looking.
  4. Hello All, Here is a recent work. "Male Revenant" 77301. I did change out the head. I removed the original head and replaced it with a skull. The skull was pinned in place. When I first saw the miniature, it made me think of the old Scooby Doo cartoon villains. So, I painted the skull to look like it is glowing a bit with glowing pinpoint eyes. Thank you for looking.
  5. I started this little side project in my Children of the Night WIP. Models are from Freebooter Miniatures ( Werne Klocke) the Crypt is from Minimonsters, Gravestone is from Greenstuffworld, the stairs are made of foam. WIP: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/79298-children-of-the-night-by-glitterwolf/ ********************* Ahhh Love... When you find the right person it's forever. And by that I mean FOREVER!!!! Here's Mr. Mort, He's found his eternal love, and every year on the day they met he brings her a rose and ask her to be his girl once again. Her beautiful blond hair, her lovely smile, how could he resist? And every year, she plays along, holding him off for a short while and then agrees to be his girl, forever and ever. *********************
  6. Design ClayCyanide- Vukodlak Fighter 3D Printed on my Elegoo Mars Scaled up 150% to increase the size. Base Resin from Microart Studios. Part of my Children of the Night Project: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/79298-children-of-the-night-by-glitterwolf/page/25/#comments ***************** When the Moon is full sensible folks stay indoors keeping a silver weapon close. Of course there are always non-believers, that's what the Vukodlak likes most. Tender meat... ****************
  7. Design Great Grimoire Base Design CastnPlay. Printed on my Elegoo Mars ( basic but still going strong!) This is the first Zombie Deckhand for my Vampire Coast Army WIP here: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/97971-vampire-coast-army-and-other-pirates/page/2/#comments
  8. I've been working on this guy for the better part of a month and just finished him tonight. He was a blast to paint, and I'm pretty happy with the finished product. The green wrappings could have probably used some more intense highlighting, but I'm not gonna lose sleep over it. Initially, I wasn't a big fan of the vultures (I put them off until the very last phase of painting). But, one I got some paint in them, they grew on me.
  9. Last year was my best painting year since 2013! I averaged one per week. Despite the enthusiasm with a brush, I have been less engaged with the community than ever. I paint 'em, and then they go to a cabinet never to be seen by another person. Naturally a good number of the pieces I have completed over the year are reaper miniatures, so I'm happy to share a selection of things I have done here. The undead are fun to knock out, and this Minotaur was no exception. They are so forgiving to rough paintwork that they are especially relaxing for brief sessions. Nothing fancy here, but I like it. The weapons on the base come from the reaper sprue from a prior KS.
  10. Definitely one of my favorite inclusions in the Ravenloft board game. Originally, I thought the paint job would be entirely a bone color. After I started prepping him, however, it became clear that there was just as much rotting flesh as there was visible bone. Makes sense, considering the artwork in the monster manual. A quick Google image search shows that people approach this model's paint job in a variety of cool ways. This combines my favorite elements from what I've seen, plus my own spin on the way I like to paint undead/zombie-types.
  11. So, youngest vixen's boyfriend mentioned my hobby when hanging with his friends. They like to play board games etc,. One of his friends asked if I would paint the minis for his Board Game - Dark Souls for him. So...I agreed. He will let me know what he'd like for the bigger monsters. As for the characters and minions, he let me decide ( oh boy, shall I paint a rainbow skeleton?) Anyway, here it goes.
  12. I painted this wraith as part of my Secret Sophie. I worked forever on the sword and it finally clicked and I ended up pretty proud of it.
  13. Hey everyone, here's 02405, D'Mona the Vampire sculpted by Jim Johnson. I went with true metallic paint on the shield and NNM on the armor.
  14. Hey everyone, here's 02221, Morrdha the Vampire Wizard and his imp familiar. This Dark Heaven Legends model was sculpted by Bob Ridolfi.
  15. Simple little speed paint using Citadel Nighthaunt Gloom airbrushed over a grisaille value sketch. . .
  16. 3D printed on my Elegoo Mars. Design Plague Doctor: Great Grimoire. Design Base: CastNPlay Part of my Children of the Night Project. WIP here: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/79298-children-of-the-night-by-glitterwolf/page/23/#comments ***************************** Sometimes at night one can see a dark figure roaming the streets, rumors say that he's been spotted at the cemetary a lot. Others mention they saw him right after a battle, wandering the battlefield searching for something. Nobody knows exactly who he is and what he does, but the sight of his dreadful mask and the fact that he carries a raven around makes people keep their distance from him. Some say he's a good man, helping the Witchhunters, others suspect him to be in league with the Undead, and then there are those who say that he's been collecting body parts for experiments. Dr. Corvus cares not for all of this gossip, it's night, it's time to go out again, only he knows what he's searching for and why. **************************************
  17. Another Ebay find! The base is foamboard, sand, and Vallejo Mud & Grass paint with some Citadel Stirland Battlemire. The model was a ton of fun to paint.
  18. This will be yet another Undead /Demon Army. ( what can I say? I love evil miniatures). This army has an Asian theme. Undead Samurai Oni Asian Dragons Some living Asian Allies. Kirin Hope you will enjoy it. I created a background story for it, it is on page 2. Have fun reading! I will paint slowly and it may take a while, but I'm putting this out here to start. Since I backed Zentih's Kensei Undead KS I have a few of the Undead Samurai and Demons waiting I also have the Grenadier Wind Dragon ( alas without the two humans) and the Grenadier Imperial Dragon of the Eleven Celestial Dynasties And some Living Samurai. Also a nice Asian Graveyard Set. Some stuff that has to get painted soon..
  19. 3D printed on my Elegoo Mars. Design Great Grimoire Moonfox Abomination Part of my Asian themed Project ( Nippon Land of the Rising Moon) WIP here: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/79416-nippon-land-of-the-rising-moon-by-glitterwolf/page/17/
  20. Presenting the Wayward Mariner, this poor soul is from one of Malifauxs Special Edition sets (I think he's part of an alternate Molly crew) by Wyrd Games. Very happy with how this one painted up, my only problem is how I've had to awkwardly wedge him in one corner of his large base to accommodate his overhanging anchor, looks weird and stupid. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.
  21. Some more ghouly chill down your spine, this is the stuff of nightmare. These are 77720, Ghouls and Ghast sculpted by Julie Guthrie and Bob Ridolfi.
  22. As you continue exploring the cathacomb, you catch sight of a ghastly humanoid creature walk in your direction. The stench of death and rot lingered around its undead forms. You recognize with horror, a minion of the dark necromancer queen Kiaransalee. This is a 77159, Ghast sculpted by James Van Schaik.
  23. I went for a fairly monochrome look for his throne and added a few Citadel skulls to the base to fill some gaps.
  24. One of Bob Ridolfi's sweet little undead monsters from earlier this summer. I tried some grey skin tones to give her a "definitely not human" look, with the contrasting pale yellow funeral dress. It's all right, and there's nothing you need to be concerned about here....
  25. Hello everyone, here are some pictures of a 02126, Arachno-Assassin sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. I had this damaged mini for a long time and I decided to replace its upper left hand falchion for a sword from the 02455, Weapons pack IV. It was a very fun and easy model to paint. I intend to use it as a "boss" in a major encounter, so I painted it in red to increase the focus on it and point out how dangerous it is. The bluish bladed sword will be magical, maybe even cursed.
