  1. Hello everyone, I completed this one last night. Dark Heaven Legends 02885, Khalith the Mummy Lord and Cobra familiar. This awesome model was sculpted by James van Schaik.
  2. Female Spectre from EPIC Miniatures Printed on Elegoo Mars Elegoo Grey Resin. WIP: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/79298-children-of-the-night-by-glitterwolf/ Once she was loved, then betrayed and murdered in cold blood. He got away with it and to keep up appearances he laid flowers on her grave. Thinking he could be happy with his new found love, keeping it a secret for now. In a while he would "meet a new girl" again and nobody would ever suspect the truth. One last time to play the grieving widower, he walked to her grave with some flowers in hand. Some other visitors looked at him, feeling sorrow for his loss. He smiled inside, if only they knew. The others left the cemetary. He laid down the flowers, no need to hang around if nobody was around. Besides he was longing for his new girl, one more look at the tombstone, a shame she wouldn't let him go. He had to free himself from her, too bad it had to end this way. Goodbye! He whispered and turned around. Oh, don't go yet! He heard a whispering voice say. A cold wind blew around his neck, he turned around and saw her ghost emerging from the grave. Two shiny daggers in her hands. You'll stay with me...forever!
  3. Hi there. I've got a boney baddie for you all today. I was disappointed by the official mini offerings for a Skull Lord (a skeletal warrior with 3 heads), and it seemed like the perfect candidate for a bit of conversion. A few citadel skulls later and... For the observant viewer, you'll notice the Skeletal Champion's original head at the bottom of the bone pile. His skull was a bit too bulky compared to the citadel skulls and the sculpt didn't really leave enough room for three heads so I had to cut away some of the shoulder armor. All said, this was a pretty simple conversion and will make for a fun fight in the future. To see more of my winter-themed minis, check out my Frostrun Project HERE.
  4. Hello everyone, I completed another mummy last night. 14280, Chosen of Sokar the Nefsokar Sergeant sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. Another amazing model, full of nice ornaments and sporting a crocodile head. Once again, I used the nnm technique and opted for purple clothes to distinguish it from the other mummies I recently painted.
  5. Hello everyone, I had a busy week and managed to complete this model last night. Here are pictures of 14026, Nakhti the Nefsokar Captain. This Warlord model was sculpted by Bob Ridolfi, I painted it with Reaper MSP paint. I love the detail on this mummy.
  6. So I finished the Undead Regiment. Background story.. the Vampire Queen lost a big battle, fled to a swamp/jungle area. Subdued the swampfolk and now faces a rebellion. Some swamp creatures follow her, others oppose her. Here is the full regiment. Mixed Manufacturers. Mixed types of Undead. I will post them separatly or in smaller groups for better pics of them all. I will try not to flood the forum, so today the regiment and the first solo/smaller groups. The rest will follow shortly. The Vampire Queens heraldry is red and purple so all the Undead have this colours somewhere. Also as a sign she is mistress of the swamp, her heraldry has a snake in it, variations are found on the shields and banner. Now the horde:
  7. Hello everyone, here are pictures of Wizards of the Coast 88358, Skeletal Orc. This Chainmail model was sculpted by Will Hannah in 2001 for the Ahmut faction.
  8. Greetings! Ceneric, Wihtboḡa Warrior from Mierce Miniatures: Thanks for looking!
  9. Greetings & Happy Halloween!! Bonnie would like some candy.......... Thanks for looking!
  10. Hello inspiration Tuesday, Here are pictures of a Wizards of the Coast 88712, Zombie Troglodyte I completed Yesterday. This Chainmail model was sculpted by Will Hannah and was painted with Reaper MSP paint.
  11. Good day everyone, With the dead leaves season comes harvest time. Autumn is also a time for gathering and for reflection. Like the Tuilvilanuue words say "Nilsi hentil kilta anno", it takes four seasons to make a year. Here are some pictures of Julie Guthrie awesome 77923 Skeletal Owlbear. I really enjoyed painting this model. The design of the skeletal beasts that Reaper recently produced is stunning. It is an archeological journey in fantasy land.
  12. Hello everyone, here are pictures of the third and last of the 06143, Tomb Guards sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. This is the metal version from the Nefsokar Warlord Army Packs. I kept my favorite of the three for last.
  13. Hello everyone, here are pictures of the second of 06143, Tomb Guards sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. This is the metal version from the Nefsokar Warlord Army Packs.
  14. Hi everyone, here are pictures of the first of 06143, Tomb Guards sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. This is the metal version from the Nefsokar Warlord Army Packs. I recently painted the three mummies from the pack and will post them on the forum this week. I really enjoyed their big Khopesh and the detail on there shields.
  15. Hi everyone, Here are pictures of the third skeletal beast in the series. 77931, Skeletal Manticore sculpted by Julie Guthrie. Painted with Reaper MSP paint and mounted on a 2 inches base.
  16. Hi everyone, Here is the second skeletal beast I painted last week. This is Bones model 77924, Skeletal Chimera sculpted by Julie Guthrie. I added dirt and moss on it to make it look like it's freshly animated. The leaves are dry birch tree seed hulls. I picked them up in the forest and painted them before gluing them on the base. As a reference, the base is 2 inches wide.
  17. RocketPig Miniatures. 3D printed on Elegoo Mars. Necromera. Part of my Children of the Night Project. WIP Here: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/79298-children-of-the-night-by-glitterwolf/ It's night, it rains and it seems everybody in this forsaken town has closed their doors and windows. Even the Inn seems to be closed, why? One would think the villagers are afraid of something. You hear the sound of wings in the dark sky above you. Suddenly you hear a soft voice: All alone in the dark? How nice! You turn around and the last thing you see is the Necromera.
  18. I know I messed up the timing this year, and worked on Deadcember instead of Orctober. I wasn't feeling super-motivated by the small amount of unpainted Orcs I had, but from my Frostgrave II: Arcanic Boogaloo order had a ton of the living dead. And one never has enough Zombies. However, it means there's plenty of spookybois to be shown off! The Draugr, mostly converted from the Fireforge Living Dead Peasants and Frostgrave Barbarians with some Warhammer bits. The Knockers, again Fireforge Living Dead Peasants with Warhammer Dwarf Miners hats and bits from Mantic and Mage Knight. I think I should go back and add big rucksacks...and redo the flames to be the correct order. Just plain Fireforge Living Dead Peasants, with the exception of a Frostgrave Cultist head for the Executioner. The Old Vet, a 3D print from Retro Quest Undead Pirates from EC3D "Depths of Savage Atoll" Former Imperials, converted from Warhammer Empire, Mantic Undead, and Frostgrave Cultists (Undead bits) Mostly Mantic. Beware the spine whip! And lastly, when your Necromancer runs out of skulls, the Creeping Claws! 3D prints from Crippled God Foundry
  19. I've got more dead things for you today. @Igormortis isn't the only one looking for some dirty dead! Here's my little collection of swamp zombies. The crowning jewel of this set is of course the Dreadmere Wight from Bone 4 Dreadmere. He's got plenty of character packed into such a simple model. I love him. Along side him we have a repainted Zombie from D&D Giants of Legend prepaints (#40). I've had this guy for ages, way before i learned to play D&D or ever picked up a mini brush. His paintjob was pretty bland and I definitely think I (un)livened him up. Would make a great shaman-type mini. And filling out the horde we have the Zombies from the Castle Ravenloft board game. Again. Rather bland sculpts, but I like them a lot more now. Their weird posture was the inspiration for the swamp theme as I imagined them pulling themselves up out of the muck. All together, they're a fun thematic set and add for some variety to my dusty Graveyard Zombies. Which one do you like best?
  20. Nolzur's do make a few great monster minis, even though most -if not all- of their humanoid minis are too small, weedy and have too shallow detailing for my liking. Here is one: Yep, a dead head. 50mm base. The main colour is Citadel Contrast Plaguebearer flesh, the rest is regular paint. This mini was finished September 12th 2020. Zombie Beholder Nolzur's Marvellous Miniatures, Wave 11 2020 Wizkids I have no idea who sculpted this, as WizKids do not -as far as I know- publish this info. PVC, 50mm base
  21. Crawling back from the dead here with this fun little handful of zombies! Added some gravestones to a few of them using popsicle sticks. Just good ole' classic grave crawling zombies. Went for a dusty color palette. Which one do you think turned out best?
  22. EDIT - This is now going to be somewhere I dump all my Reaper projects while (hopefully) not causing chaos by misusing the Show Off section. I'll pop finished miniatures that are individually worth looking at over there, too. My first post on the Reaper Forum, so please be nice! Not 100% sure where to post this as it falls into several categories. but here it is anyway - my Reaper Bones Hill Giant "Tribe" and their hillside display base. I posted these in my regular Warhammer forum but they are too far removed from WFB to gain much interest, so I thought I'd share them here in their "proper" home. I've always painted miniatures with the "excuse" that they will be used to play games with, whether that be D&D or Warhammer or anything in between, so my emphasis is on table-ready minis rather than masterpieces. This is one of the first projects I've done without a clear gaming purpose, but because I'm a gamer at heart I still needed to put everything on individual bases for two reasons - 1 - "just in case" a gaming use comes up 2 - because gaming bases excuses a gaming paint job! I decided on hex bases because I liked the way they tessellate The paint scheme, choice of pets and landscape are inspired by my AD&D days, I'm constantly trying to recapture my youth! (Glad to say that Reaper Bones have finally made this sort of project practical and affordable, and I hope to follow it with similar projects using the other trad D&D Giant races.) All 11 miniatures used (and the 11th is very hard to spot in these two pictures!) are from Reaper, mostly Bones. There are a few relatively simple conversions, mostly so I could use two pairs of giants without them being identical. The major scenic elements (trees and rocks) are made from errr real trees and real rocks, while almost all of the greenery is from a range of suppliers (Citadel, Army Painter and so on) I tried to position all of the models so that they are focused on something located just in front of the scene - presumably, a party of hostile adventurers! I don't want to drown people in images, but if there is interest I can post individual pictures of each giant and some WIP pictures of the project, as well as the identity of that 11th miniature...
  23. Unknown female vampire figure I picked up in a boxed game set. Can't remember the exact name or manufacturer. Box art showed them in purple, I wanted to explore other colors. I see her as the kind of vampire that likes to play with her food and enjoys a bit of lively sport. I have 2 of her sisters to do in other colors. The photo is a bit washed out from the flash. Her skin is a pale grey, different than her white gloves. Casting on the face is strange, she has an odd shaped mouth, and no nose so I painted one on.
  24. And what's a graveyard setting without some undead wolves to harry the party in the snow?
  25. Greetings! Vietnam Zombie with gun from Citadel Miniatures of old! This was a limited release which was linked with both the Chainsaw Warrior board game & 40K Chaos. Thanks for looking!
