This is the second time I've painted her (the first was gifted out to a coworker). After I finished her I realized the Maxwell House color scheme of orange and blue fit the Chicago Bears as well.

Hello friends!!! Here is a little diorama I threw together for the Reaper Fan Contest that was being run on facebook. The goal was for a massive group of us to each produce a Ursula (Bones version) and have tons of participation to get everyone painting, to learn, and to see the various different iterations that could be thrown together. I couldn't just paint Ursula on the broccoli base, so I ended up with this small diorama because of texting with chaosscorpion and letting my imagination get the better of me. "Two matriarchs, each a leader by her own right, struggle for control of territory" In this scene Ursula has been led into a dangerous trap. The female goblin leader has taunted Ursula's mount into a deadly opening for a goblin spear while another goblin seeks to dismount Ursula. Hope you all enjoy!

Here are some pretty blurry pic of the spring exchange piece I made for MiniBart. He requested a winter scene and I immediately thought of this mini. Happy you like it buddy. :-)

Some of you may have been following my WIP thread over in that section, but here is the finished product. I got a new camera for Xmas and have been experimenting with the photography and adjustments I need to make switching from taking shots with my iPhone 4 as I've done in the past. The cardiac ICU has been crazy for the past month, so this miniature has been quite the ongoing project; much more so than I usually put into a figure. I used MonkeySloth's 'ice base' technique for creating an icy riverbed with adjacent rock-scapes; I then added snow for scenic character. I hope you enjoy.
