  1. Hello All, Here are photos of a 14036 Warlord "Halbarad, Crusaders Cleric" I completed recently. Photo heavy Thank you for looking.
  2. Needed to get a troop of knights together, may do more if I find them in metal
  3. latest, after the fire giant found she was hard to paint, so small, lol.
  4. One of the old Warlord figures that made it into Bones. This guy started out as a test subject for metallics, but I didn't like the way he looked so I repainted parts of it. No going to win any contests, but he'll do for table play.
  5. Recently finished figures. I for some reason can't pass up a mid-eastern/Abrian Night figures.
  6. It was a very busy summer (and into the fall), so I didn't get a lot of painting done. But here are the Bones Black Hell Hounds (#44100). Or the Hell's Frozen Over Hounds as I've painted them. Here is the Reaper Dungeon Dweller Unicorn (#07047). He was a test run of Turbo Dork's Mother Lode paint. It has a mother of pearl sheen in person, but it is very hard to capture in a picture. And the Bones Classic Silverhorn Unicorn, #77029. He was an experiment with Reaper Black Pearl paint. And finally, Ian the Ivy Crown Mage. Warlord #14544.
  7. Now that I painted mostly what I wanted to paint of the reapercon swag back to what I've had sitting on the work desk. Must admit he was fun to do.
  8. Some of the June projects done so far. Another of the fighter types I had chosen because who doesn't like a baddie.
  9. The last of my June projects done so far and the last of the three fighters I had primed for the month.
  10. Enjoyed this model, experimented with white hair for the horse.
  11. I probably should of stripped her before painting her, she was primed way back in late 90's with a spray can when I was briefing into the hobby but had destroyed her arm when her staff broke off. Saw her in my bitz box and figured why, not so re-scuplted her whole arm for something to do and just started painting, but some of the detail on the jewelry got gunk and they were hard to paint.
  12. Couldn't really come up with a color scheme I wanted for her than just said well she's a barbarian so brown armor will always do.
  13. I know most will say nice face because it came out fairly well, but I loved doing his cloak most.
  14. Here is the Warlord Unicorn, #14457. I like the dynamic action of this pose. It feels like he is ready to stomp and skewer someone. And we will just call those mold lines 'battle scars.' Did anyone else have trouble trying to get rid of those? I could not smooth the seam on the horn down. He was painted with a pale blue undertone to his coat, and a pale mauve to his mane, tail and feathering. The undertones were lightened up by adding pearl white (#9100) to each layer. I plan to do another one of these in black, once I get my hands on a pearl black bottle. Group shot!
  15. Havn't been able to paint much this last month and a half but did manage to squezze out a few. Seek out the "Red Robin of Everwine Forest," they would surely know your quest and maybe of some help, said the sage.
  16. Haven't been able to paint much this last month and a half but did manage to squezze out a few.
  17. I bought this guy as a potential diorama subject, but he wasn't quite right. I did a quick paintjob to get him off the table/out of the shame pile. I recently found out how to make crystals out of sprue.
  18. So, a few questions: Mercenaries. There was a post about how if we take so many mercenaries we will lose our faction benifits? is that true? if so, where do I find the limits and who can go in what force? Going to a shop with plentiful reaper next wed and want to have a shopping list in hand for what I can use in my necropolis and crusader forces. SO, we can have: 0/1 warlord 1/3 captains(assuming no duplicates with UNQ?) ?/? sgts? So after that, elites as many as fill the slots, soldiers, I am assuming we can mix and match as we darn well please? I'll have more questions, right now I am painting up a storm, just did 8 battle nuns, 4 characters last night. so today I start basing my other solidiers and elites.
  19. I just finished her a couple of days ago, always wanted to paint her but never gotten around to it until now.
  20. One of two I recently finished. A favorite oldie I just gotten around to painting, I've always luv Klocke's old work.
  21. Here she is from my wip thread.....yep a DROW......
  22. On her I wanted to see how far I could lighten my drow skin with it still looking like a drow, don't know if I succeeded or not. I do know I picked the wrong model think yea alot of skin showing but after I did the skin and took a look at the armor I was at a complete lost on how to proceed.
