My first 3d reaper print. Details were amazingly crisp with almost no cleanup required. Some patterning was faintly visible on the top of the hood and backpack, but only under magnification. I tried to keep things a little darker. The backpack was a fun leather craft exercise. Comments and criticism is welcome!

Here is another wizard from the Greybeards subset of the Bones 4 Core set. This one does have a metal version (SKU 03953) and was sculpted by Bobby Jackson. I had fun with this figure. I love the character in these wizard figures. This one is strongly reminiscent of Gandalf. Though I resisted the temptation to go grey I did sneak Gandalf's rune onto the medallion on the back of his hat.

Here is one of the wizards from the Greybeards subset of the Bones 4 core set. I could have sworn there was a metal version of this but I couldn't find it in the web store. I like this figure because even though the design is relatively simple, you get a real sense of character.

Here is the Druid from the Grenadier Wizards box set, this one sans dart. Very simple garb on this guy. I don’t know what to think of this guy. He looks very 1st-level, compared to the Druid with Dart. His sword doesn't even have a cross-guard. How anyone can sword fight in those Smurf-like robes escapes me as well. I think this guy has a lot to learn.

This is the Druid with Dart from the Grenadier Wizards box set. The mini originally had a tiny little limp carrot-looking dart in his hand, which i always hated. I took the liberty of replacing it with something a bit more substantial. My daughter came up with the entire color scheme. I sometimes ask her to pick out the colors when i have no idea what to do. I don't know what the little critter perched on his staff is. Maybe some kind of little lizard friend? Or maybe just something carved on the staff? Oh well.

This is the Cleric from the Grenadier Wizards box set. As with the sorcerer I posted earlier, this guy suffered from a sandblasting 25 years ago which gave him a slightly gravelly texture and eroded some detail. I modeled him after a Catholic Cardinal with the red and white robes and beanie. Having a priest with a snake familiar is a bit on-the-nose, don't you think?

These were the final two of the Thanksgiving Challenge I was able to complete. The one on the left is a fairly accurate depiction of the Elder Mouse that wound up briefly possessing me on Halloween and his friend is the Priestess of Cheezit. (Which has gone from a favored food of mice, to a religion it seems) Debating on the nature of Cheezits vs Cheese Nips, consulting the Book of Ralph. Nips are found to be acceptable, and they go off to spread this to the other mice...

Something that was shockingly lacking in my collection was Merlin/Gandalf types. I think I had traded or sold most of them. Bones 4 helped with that.

For the most recent works in progress, a gigantic distraction from my poor Death Guard project. In the last week, multiple delayed Kickstarters (and one on-time Nickstarter) arrived...as well as the ReaperCon Swag Bag! Arrivals included: Stonehaven Miniatures Giants Stonehaven Adventurers 2017 Midlam Miniatures "Winter Adventurers" Reapercon Swag Bag Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago Nickstarter While I am trying to complete the Death Guard, I did ready these groups for prime time: The Giants are nicely sized. While there are some issues with the scaling between Giant "tribes" in comparison to 5E entries, they do tower over adventurers. The Wolf Lord, who I expected to be an Ogre-sized werewolf, is massive!

Just want to let folks know that we will be starting our next Frostgrave Campaign on January 14th. For those who would like to read about 2016's completed campaign, see the 2016 thread. We will use this new thread to post our After Action Reports and photos after each game of the upcoming campaign. Our plan is to start off doing the scenarios from the "Thaw of the Lich Lord" supplement book. After almost a year of work, I've finally completed this piece. 2 hours each on the adventurers, about an hour each on the terrain pieces, and close to 6 hours on the dragon itself. A lot of different colors used, so I'm not even going to try to mention them all. The terrain is mostly dry brushed, and washes. The dragon has no dry brushing at all though. As soon as I saw the multipart plastic kit, I knew "Frostgrave" was another game I'd have to check out. Having recently finished some of the pieces that came with my "Nickstarter" order, I knew I'd made the right choice. I haven't quite decided how I wanted the bases to be (especially since the metal guys can't stand up right on their own), so they're just stained grey for the moment. First off, we have the metals, including the Apothecary, Enchanter Apprentice, Barbarian, and Santa Claus (or maybe an Enchanter Wizard, it's hard to tell)
