  1. And I *THINK* this should be the last of the SPACEFUTURE posts for a while (at least until I get the insect faction done). Reaper's Frank Russo, Mercenary Hero (50044) is a great sculpt, with a Superman jaw and muscles and a well-stocked utility belt. I think he was meant to be a gritty, grimdark superhero/villain/antihero after the line of Punisher or Crossbones or Reaper (dude comes with an extra head with a skull mask). He's a good Special Operative, but I wanted to put some color on there, dammit! The result is more "The Incredibles" or Spaceman Spiff than "secret agent." (Here's
  2. Cobbled together some lab benches that would work just fine for Miskatonic. Also found a telescope bracelet charm that I built a tiny tripod for. In charge of the Astronomy department is one of Zombiesmith's Mad Scientists--though he looks like an incredibly, tediously sane scientist right now. Dr. Hu will find out in short order that no good comes of watching the skies in 1920's Arkham, though. And this is the lovely Professor Laura Pringle (50052), new hire in the Anatomy and Physiology department. Her patience with fools and frivolous students is even shorter than her skirt. Here
  3. The high desert of the Red Planet can be perilous, what with the Crawlers and the Mind Worms. Martians are trained in the use of psionics, and also distortion cannons. Here are some Martian troopers (Hydra's Zenithian Alpha Cadre). A tiny bit of drybrushing in metallic red on the eyeballs gives them a nice alien gleam. 4 And here is an ambitious cadet, Zombiesmith's Captain Bucket. I thought his uniform could be made to mimic the troopers'. And Zombiesmith's wonderful Commander Y'nitum. What a pint-sized little space Napoleon! A great expression. I wanted his togs to be midway in
  4. More professors! Reaper's Savage Worlds line Mad Scientist (Male), along with a Mad Scientist from Zombiesmith. I call them Dr. Ortega and Dr. Kaloustian. Good for Miskatonic's Physics department. The doodad behind them I made of scraps for the Pulp Call of Cthulhu adventure "The Disintegrator." I have no PROOF that Rick Sanchez (of - and Morty fame) was modeled after Reaper's 50914, but it makes you think, doesn't it? Also: Professor L. T. Froschmeister, 50061, from the Chemistry department. What a fun sculpt! This double-dome egghead is a magnificent boffin.
  5. This one was finished back in May but I was not able to take pictures until recently. I loved painting her and playing with colors and contrast.
  6. Well I was not planing on starting any new miniatures until I finished the ones I am currently working on but I had an idea pop into my mind regarding this one. So here is the Eru Saga female wizard from ZombieSmith. I had this vision of a fun, colorfully dressed, young wizard playing on an old stone wall and the first picture is her on the base. The second is the color scheme I have in mind but I need help. I am not sure what color to do her top, any thoughts?
