Here's a few of the 3d printed characters from the crowdfunded project by Kazrak Studio. They were done in resin, and have some very fine details. John H. Damon, who likes to read old books written in strange languages: Dr Weird Psychic, a student of the mystic arts who needs no introduction: Laura Craft, field archaeologist and explorer: And dear Dr Home, the brilliant surgeon with a lousy bedside manner: All are presented on bases from Secret Weapon.

Good ol' Frank Buck, always manages to find trouble, no matter where he goes. And when he doesn't find it, you can be sure trouble is looking for him. This was a quick speed paint, making use of washes and shading products.

On this day in 1804, Meriwether Lewis, William Clark and the rest of their party headed up the Missouri River on a government-sponsored mission to explore the land that had been acquired in the Louisiana Purchase the year before and find a water route to the Pacific Ocean. And so began a multi-year adventure. GEM

This is the follow up to The Tomb of Yaegar. It assumes that your characters completed that adventure. However, if you want to use it by itself it would be easy enough for the players to find the Forgotten Temple. Unlike the previous adventure all stats will be done in the Labyrinth Lord rule set, but it is simple enough to convert it over to almost any other system. As with the previous adventure I will share this in several installments. It was written for my home brew world of Renascentia, but can easily be adapted to any setting. It is designed for 4-6 players of 1-3 levels, though if the players are level 1 you might want to adjust the number of monsters encountered and the final fight. In my game I use Reaper Bones Miniatures for all Player Characters and NPCs. I will note which minis were used. You are of course free to use this for your non-commercial use. If you do use it for anything though, please give me a nod.

Hello, This post is mainly for me to get my ideas out on an adventures/ building my world, that I want to write. Things maybe out out sorts, but sometimes that helps me get more organized. Any and all commits are welcome, but do not be offended if I do not use said suggestions. I am using the GURPS system, so I may drop an NPC or three with stats in here as well. Adventure Idea: In the town where the adventures start out in is a adventures guild hall. Adventuring parties are formed there and then said parties assemble and will work a job that the group picks. If the party can not agree on an adventure then their 'sponsor' chooses for them. (change sponsor to supervisor or something) WT: A tale of lovers. two of the contracts at the guild are to help find missing children. one is the son (17) of a wealthy merchant and the other is the daughter (15, just a few days? from 16, the legal age of marriage) of a poor farming family. the idea is no matter which contract the party takes, they end up working both as the two kids are in love and have run off together as the merchants son has a arranged marriage that is close to being done. The party will track the missing child to the next village, maybe further? Maybe by the time they are found, the two are married??

It's 2 years in the making, and larger than Zelda: Link's Awakening, and still fits in your pocket! There's still a few Arduventure edition Arduboy pledges left... (The game will work on the Standard edition, also. but the KS exclusive eition looks good... )

I created this one off adventure module as a way to introduce a friend of mine to Tabletop RPGs, since she had never played. The map and the resultant adventure turned out better than I had expected. So, I decided to write a back story. The miniatures used for the encounters and NPCs were exclusively Bones miniatures present in the Vampire Box of KS1. I will share the adventure here in several installments starting with the Background, Summary, Notable NPCs, and Map. It was written for my homebrew world of Renascentia, but it can easily be run world independent or modified for any other world. It was designed for a single player with a supporting NPC for Second Edition AD&D. If you want to run it with more players, or in a newer system you will probably want to add more monsters/encounters or scale their power levels to make it more challenging. Additionally I added a hook to the finale so that if you wish it can become the start of a much larger adventure or campaign. I hope that some of you might find it useful, in part or in whole, or at least enjoyable to read. You may freely make use of all the materials provided here for non-commercial use. Please feel free to share it. At the end of the adventure I will provide a synopsis of all miniatures used, and download links for all the NPC sheets and map. Thanks for reading. Cheers. A general question of interest. During ReaperCon, I was one of the lucky participants of Reaper Wolf's RPG sessions that starred this year's four factions. One thing he mentioned was that the individual adventures (one per faction and one mashup, so five total) would be downloadable and available the Friday following the con. Two and a half weeks later, I finally remind myself to download them. But... where are they? I can't seem to find them on the ReaperCon site, if that's where they are. Since several of us forumites participated, I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering this.

Greetings, Just so everybody knows, I'll be running themed RC 2015 rpg events as I have the past many years. I'm sticking with the three-hour block formats running each adventure twice over the course of the con. Four factions compete for control over the Axis, a massive space station 20+ kilometers in diameter. Old Terra is a distant memory, the Axis has been home to the remnants of Humanity after their colony ship suffered a mishap and was cast adrift. Since then additional drift-fleets from every corner of the galaxy have come to the station, docked, and added to the chaos. While the final details are still coming together I can reveal the factions: Confed: This is the democratically elected government promoting equality among the races but struggles to keep the peace with the assistance of the IMEF: Interstellar Marine Expeditionary Force. Their enemy is the Tribunal. (Good) Tribunal: A shadowy organization seeking to manipulate and gather power at any cost. They use any means at their disposal but prefer assassination, extortion, and mayhem. To them the ends justify the means. (Bad). Mutants: Science run amok! The mutants are the result of accidental and deliberate genomic modification due to radiological and xenobiological contamination. Think John Carpenter's The Thing with the infected struggling to maintain their hold onto what remains of their humanity. In exchange for their warped physiques they possess a staggering array of physical and mental abilites. (Neutral) Freelancers: Not so much a faction but rather a loose brotherhood of squabbling scallywags, drift trash, star-mercs, and assassins looking for their next score. (Neutral) There will be numerous outside groups working with and against the four factions, for hints on what's to come scope out the Fig-Finder searching 'Sci Fi' and see what turns up. If your a fan of Babylon 5, Deep Space 9, Star Wars, Star Trek, and/or Firefly you'll find a lot to love in this years offerings. In the weeks ahead I'll continue to drop tidbits, rumors, maps and maybe a fully statted character or threat to keep ya interested and guessin'. As usual my games will be available for pre-reg, I'm still finalizing the event descriptions so stay tuned. Seating will be limited to 6 but I reserve the right to seat another player or two. Four factions means four different faction-themed events. The fifth event will be an all-faction mashup and it seats 8. Pregenerated characters will be provided along with all materials. In addition to the very brief blurb above, an announcement: After careful consideration I've decided to use the West End Games D6 Space, Fantasy, and Adventure rpgs for my events this year. Yes, Fantasy and there will be characters who can access the mind-bending flesh-rending powers of the Source. In previous years I've used Pathfinder, Savage Worlds, and even Ubiquity to great success. Those of you interested can find ALL of the WEG D6 material at DriveThruRPG and RPGNow sites for FREE. Yes, free. Eric Gibson has generously provided .pdfs of the rulebooks and supplemental books to the D6 community at no cost. The Open D6 license has allowed a variety of publishers to run with the ball and generate their own great content and I encourage ya'll to explore what the D6 community has to offer. In the meantime keep your Chimeran Spikeplasm Pistol handy, there are sinister things skulking the Axis corridors and people disappear every day. A final word of advice: never dicker with a Bathalian. The loss of your mind is the least of your worries... Stay tuned! >>ReaperWolf

After many many years of being a (GM/DM) for RPG adventure groups (with some great groups and wonderful memories)...I retired as an active (DM) last November, thinking that it was time for younger brains and blood to tell the stories and weave the fantasies for avid fantasy players! Since my retirement...I have been besieged by former past players and the new friends they have made...to come out of retirement and conduct at least one more RPG adventure story and fantasy game! Well...I am back in the fold!...After our apartment move is completed and things are back to normal...I have agreed to the wishes of the players and will conduct another RPG adventure game. The game/story will be a horrific adventure that not many of the group may survive! They will leave the standard/common foes and enemies behind and face epic foes like giant monoliths (that use laser beam attacks) and giant stone guardians that can vanquish dragons with their lethal blades/swords in just a couple of attacks! To my great surprise...the group was not turned off by the above dire facts...in fact, they seemed to gain great enthusiasm with/at the idea of the great challenges that they will face and encounter...each player thinking that the others may/will die, but that they will survive! The game will be titled " The Tears & Sorrows of Oblivion "...It will be a campaign game with around (24 game sittings)...playing twice a month! The group is an " adults only " group (as were most of my RPG games of the past)...there will be (10) already accepted/established players who will be playing the following fantasy characters; 1. Valina Trax (female)...(Daedra Assassin in human form)... 2. Nina Darkness (female)...(Imperial Thief/Courtesan)... 3. Jar Corbin (male)...(Imperial Duelist/Bounty Killer)... 4. Sister Sinn (female)...(Imperial Battle Nun/Healer)... 5. Jean Fable (male)...(Imperial Elf Ranger/Pathfinder)... 6. Max Von Dane (male)...(Imperial Necromancer & Skeleton friend " Blade ")... 7. Shadow Veil (female)...(Altmer Wardancer)... 8. Enigma Dreamer (female)...(Imperial Summoner/Spell Binder)... 9. Lido Von Wolf (male)...(Imperial Knight Templar)... 10. Volgar (male)...(Nordic Venerable Dwarf Lord)... The gaming figures are done to table top game play quality and are sealed with (3) coats of hard gloss coat (for heavy game play usage)! The figures will be posted in the Show Off thread for your viewing! Paul (Catdancer)

Hello! Someone had mentioned what to do with new minis and any Ideas for adventures and such. Great Idea! Here it is! I am writing an adventure where the BBEG is a gnome alchemist. Escapes early on, creates the mechanical APE to punish the heroes, and then he finishes up with the creation of a clockwork dragon to do them in. May add more to it depending on what else we get :)
