  1. So, before I go any further, I am an absolute rookie in the mini painting world. So, uh, prepare for the worst. Anyways, here's a trio of Kobold leaders. Yeah, I know there's six of them, but one got lost and the other two need a good bit more work, so it's just these three for now. As I said, I'm completely new to this hobby, so any friendly critiques are welcome! KNOWN FAULTS: I missed a couple spots on the first kobold leader's face. And a few other random spots elsewhere on all three. All of their bases look nasty... I didn't do the
  2. Howdy, all. So, in my coming Reaper order (Thursday can't come soon enough!), I've got Mrs. Bones and the Pathfinder Goblin Pyros. All of these minis have fire of one sort or another, and I've never painted fire before, because, well, I'm a rookie at mini painting. Thankfully, I was smart enough to purchase some firey colors alongside those, namely Fireball Orange and Brilliant Red. I've also got Candlelight Yellow. With that in mind, how should I go about painting flames like these? How should I wash and drybrush the fire also? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
  3. So, trying to figure out what I'm doing for reapercon. I've lost my vallejo leather instructions in my move, so I'm not super comfortable with where I'm at painting new leather and wood. I have a few miniatures started that I could touch up/finish, or I could start a different new miniature... Here are the ones I'm currently considering: 1. Oathsworn Tiefling I really think she has the best face I've ever painted, and I'm really happy about what I achieved in her purple sash. But the rest of her, I'm a bit iffy on. 2. Reap
