  1. Hi, I have finished two warbands for test of honour! Finally I can play more advanced scenarios.
  2. Hi all, With the new CAV2 Kickstarter ongoing, this motivated me to start painting my Terran force from the 1st Kickstarter. Paint job is my regular army "speed paint" quality, where I'm looking for the best look requiring the least amount of work. I decided to go with a more "desert" look to get these miniatures to look somewhat like GDI unit, so they will look nice when pitted against my Nod-like Rach force. (Rach Force: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/68610-cav-so-bones-rach-force-completed-reaper-voodoo-more). Falcon: Raptor: Vehicles: Incremental Group Shot: I still have a lot to paint, but I'm happy how they turned out so far. To be Continued...
  3. Realizing I wouldn't have time to do my first actual CAV this month due to another project, I quickly mobilized an couple of Ashigaru to make sure I made the RPChallenge quota. It's important to remember to paint the inside of the back missile pod section before gluing....luckily my glue must be getting old as I was able to get the pieces apart.... And here is a group shot of my UTF forces to this point. Hopefully some Big Stompy Robots will be joining the team before too much longer....
  4. Continuing with the Terran CAV force I am currently painting here is a unit of four Ashigaru. These are the only ones I picked up in the Kickstarter so I feel an order will be placed for more when the go on general release. First up is a shot from the front and back. And finally a group shot of all four models. As always comments welcome.
  5. This week I completed my first unit from the Reaper Bones CAV Strike Operation Kickstarter, the Ashigaru missile launcher vehicles. Im using them for a ruleset other than CAV, so have them based two to a platoon stand, with a company HQ stand included. I was happy how quick and fun the Bones vehicles are to paint, and look forward to doing more. C & C welcome.
  6. Finished of both of my Ashigaru in my terran desert wasteland scheme. I airbrushed the basecoat on these. I spent about 2 hours yesterday basecoating all my terran forces with the airbrush (about 20 models).
