For me, Kickstarter is realistically the only way that the Order of the Indigo Cross will be produced, as all pledges will go directly into covering the initial outlay costs associated with commercial miniature production (creating master copies, moulds etc.). Lionfish Games is a small company that is run by a single person, and while it allows the pursuit of creative endeavours, Kickstarter and the backers of this project are essential to the commercial viability of this project. We are a group of board game designers and artists, and we make 36mm scale high-quality collectable miniatures for our board games. While our projects for the resin models will be continuing latter this year and early next, we decided to run a small kickstarter alongside some other projects which we are doing. One of the things which our local gaming community has always been big on is the creation of great looking gaming tables and key to that is to have great looking terrain. While there is an abundance of Imperial terrain now available both through various stores and a tremendous amount online, there is often a significant lack of xenos/alien themed terrain to suit the non Imperial factions. Sadly terrain is also one of the more expensive things to ship internationally and so has always been a hurdle for many players and groups. With the growing popularity of 3D printers and prevalence of print hubs scattered around the world these hurdles are starting to break down. With this project we hope to provide people with some nicely detailed buildings with a strong Space Elf feel. The buildings are quite large and should provide both lines of sight blocking terrain and areas for more mobile units to land on higher ground. The pledge rewards are for the STL files themselves to allow you to go and print your own, there are no physical rewards, however if you need help finding a print hub to get your files printed, we will certainly try and help you with that as well. About this project Our goal is to bring a complete range of 28-32 mm scale scatter terrain pieces to the community that fulfills all the needs of the scenarios for the Frozen City and its expansions. No more using toilet rolls for pillars or missing pieces when purchasing dungeon sets not specific to the game or even replacing needed pieces with close likenesses. All our pieces are hand sculpted in fine detail, cast in quality resin and then hand-painted in the theme suited to the frozen city. Despite our pieces' versatility, each piece has been designed to fit a specific goal, yet still have diverse uses. We are thrilled to release The Frost Collection: V2 to the community. With the introduction of the new 'a la carte' option and our continued main sets, we hope that you will find a treasured place for our pieces among your finished collections. The aim of future campaigns like this will be to give us the opportunity to produce for the community quality scatter terrain pieces for those collections of RPG, skirmish and tabletop games so popular today, bringing our backers the sets and pieces they need that are ready out of the box to hit the tabletop running. About How Did this start? So My Son, (7 at the time), enjoyed playing Vault manager, and one holiday he asked me If I could build him a vault to play with. So we sat down and drew up some designs, and then I sat down and did up the files, furiously prototyped, cut and amended the designs. Eventually I ended up with a corridor set that set up on a 4' x 4' board. I put it up on the BPLASER store and people seemed to like it. Fast forward 12 months, and I decided to expand the Corridor set with another 15 rooms, furniture and inserts, and put it up on Kickstarter to see if I could expand sales. The Corridor Set is a: multi gaming system, fully modular set of laser cut/ etched MDF terrain, for use with 28-32mm table top games. Each unit piece is a multi part kit made from Australian manufactured MDF, with the approx strength of the same thickness of pine board, which should give years of use. The modularity of the corridor set allows you to make unique table layouts every time you use it. Every piece will connect to any other piece letting you decide how large, or how small to make your battlefield. Vault, Spaceship or Corridor set. I have tried, in the design of the set, to make it as functional as possible, so the Corridor Set can be used to represent the interior of a spaceship, a fallout shelter, An evil scientist's lair, a military bunker,.... the list goes on. About Judgement has gone from strength to strength since our successful Kickstarter campaignthat launched the game in 2017. We funded 14 heroes and 1 monster, enabling us to produce a fantastic range of miniatures to get the game out there. The Masters Toolkit is our primary platform for launching all Software in the future and is split into five major sections, or modules, that all work together to make your tabletop experience not only immersive but reliably unbroken by tinkering with our system mid game if need be. Cartographer Cartographer The First of our modules, the Cartographer is our battle-map creator and builder for those sticky situations that your players will inevitably get themselves into. It is set up with a pre-existing grid for quick snapping tiles and contains a free hand palette tool for complete artistic freedom.
