  1. I figured we could all use a little bit of Summer about now.
  2. Sally is my first finished project from my original Bombshell Miniatures. Patrick Keith is one of my absolute favorite sculptors working today, and Sally was a great model to work on. I really like how the NMM purple turned out and this forum's suggestion of orange for the trim turned out really, really well. Original WIP: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/68437-sally-starfield-wip
  3. Meet Bonnie Futuristic Hero from Reaper's Chronoscope line. Or as I call her, Bonnie babe of the Secret Swedish Beach Patrol. Enjoy.. For those interested in my WIP: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/62242-50210-bonnie-futuristic-heroine-by-xherman1964
  4. I've never had so much difficulty in painting a figure. She was a lot of work, but worth it as I learned a great deal from the ordeal. I know there are things that could be better but this was a significant leap for me as a painter so despite those things, I'm pleased. She took a long time and that base is custom built, there is a detailed WIP for those interested http://www.reapermini.com/forum/index.php?/topic/49983-olearys-wip-thread-of-everything-reaper/ I've deliberately done the photography in this manner as she was painted for a friend of mine to promote one of his Science Fiction Novels. She is the main female character. We are giving her away along with a copy of his book and a $50.00 Amazon Gift Certificate.. I'm also giving away free, unpainted miniatures today as part of the promo. If any of you are interested you can enter at my blog here http://fortwitter.blogspot.com/2013/09/let-double-triple-secret-give-away-begin.html And NO, you do not have to follow my blog. I do free miniature give aways every couple of months just to promote the hobby and to have fun with my fellow painters. It is a well established tradition for me and it is one that many people enjoy.
  5. This is my entry for the Pulp Themed Competition. She was a lot of work, but I learned a great deal by doing her. I did a detailed W.I.P. also http://www.reapermini.com/forum/index.php?/topic/49983-olearys-wip-thread-of-everything-reaper/page-4#entry750121 I've enjoyed painting Pulp so much that I've bought more Reaper Chronoscope Pulp and am participating in a Pulp Painting Club. Can someone tell me how to link to text as I have no idea how to do that. Also I have no idea why this added that attached Thumbnail to the bottom and I can't get rid of it. My apologies.
