  1. Hi all! How do you do? It's been a while since I last shared a mini here. I recently converted and painted one for my egyptian-themed Frostgrave warband. Since the mini depicts a woman with bare breasts, I am supposed -as per the forum rules- to post links to the pictures instead of displaying them directly in the post. So consider this topic slightly NSFW. To begin with, here is the mini I started with: https://www.reapermini.com/search/yanara https://legolemquireve.files.wordpress.com/2022/01/p1090389.jpg For the conversion, here's what I did: Sawed the head off. A brutal surgery but a necessary one. [picture] Replaced the head with a bald one from Statuesque Miniatures. [picture] Filed off the remaining hair with a Dremmel power tool. [picture] Filed off the belt decoration and replace it with an Ankh cross. Resculpted the piece of fur on her shoulders and upper back. Cut off the top of her staff and replace it with an egyptian staff decoration (a double ostrich feather ornament) The result after the conversion: https://legolemquireve.files.wordpress.com/2022/06/p1090830.jpg After priming in off-white: https://legolemquireve.files.wordpress.com/2022/06/p1090832.jpg And finally, the painted mini: [Front Picture] / [Side Picture 1] / [Side Picture 2] / [Back Picture] / [Close-up Picture] If you want to see the pictures directly, you may visit my blog post (although it's written in french): https://legolemquireve.wordpress.com/2022/06/29/sandgrave-djesa-la-thaumaturge/
  2. It has been a while, but I am back with another mini from Reaper. This time its a Blood Stone Gnome, which I tried to paint up as a goblin. Hope you all like it. Any C&c is welcomed.
  3. I painted this late last year and posted him up on the Facebook page. This is the updated image using my new camera/backdrop setup. Please enjoy. As usual C&c always wellcomed.

  5. I have no clue where I got this guy, but I envisioned him silently watching over a windswept field somewhere, which caused me to go kind of crazy with the flock. :-) Does anyone recognize this mini?
  6. Hey there everybody, It's me again, and this time I have Sajan, the monk from Pathfinder. We are using this figure for a monk in our Pathfinder RPG (just not as Sajan). I had a lot of fun painting this miniature and I tried to thin out the paints more when layering colors. I did find that I got smoother blends and overall better results. I did not originally base this miniature, another player was going to paint him but then left it up to me. I wasn't a huge fan of his rock and land placement so I added a bunch of grass to give him a meddowy feel. His face I feel falls short (first non-hooded mini), but since its not a studio piece I thought it was good enough for our table top game. Figured it'd get a good wear anyways from handling. Thanks for looking guys, Look forward to seeing what you all have to say. :) Cheers.
  7. I quick-painted the five Bones pirates, and this is the fourth. I hated his little moustache, so I ignored it when I painted the figure.
  8. Some of the steps that went into painting this one are in my WIP thread.
  9. Hello everyone! I am new to this forum and my name is Matt. I have a question that maybe some of you that have experience can hopefully help me with. I want to purchase the "Technic League Captain" mini from the Pathfinder series (link below) This model really has the look i was going for with one of my characters. The only problem is that he is bald. My character has long hair. What ways would i go about sculpting and attaching long hair to this character? I have painted before but iv'e never sculpted or modified anything. Hopefully someone can give me some advice. Thank you =) http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/Pathfinder/sku-down/60113
