  1. 3D Printed Mini on my Elegoo Mars Design I-Lovecraft Base: Resin Jungle Base from MicroArt Studio. She's featuring in two projects. https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/97971-vampire-coast-army-and-other-pirates/page/2/#comments https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/69308-lost-world-project-glitterwolf-paints-coldblooded-creatures-and-conquistadores/ ************************* They made it, the New World! Full of treasures and gold if the rumours were true. Plant the Banner! Claim the Land! Hmmm, strange skeleton? What kind of animal was this then? Why is there a huge door with strange glyphs here? Oh well...nothing they can't handle! Wait! What was that sound? *****************************
  2. Hey there! I decided to hop back on the RPChallenge wagon! These guys have been languishing on my desk, just in need of some touch-ups and basing. So I knocked those out, and I'm calling them done. They'll be fun to use as a marker or something. I did a WIP on my blog, feel free to go check it out! I update there much more frequently than I post here. Hope y'all enjoy them! C&c is always welcome!
  3. Here is an Orc Standard I recently painted for a D&D campaign. It was part of a 14292, Reven Standard and Musician blister I had bought a long time ago. It was sculpted by Ben Siens for Reaper's Warlord game. I mounted it on a 20mm base and added wooden logs to hold keep it straight on the battlefield. The green skin have taken over the stronghold under the mountain. Soon after their victory, they've put their standard on the steep pathway leading to the fortified entrance door. Their war flag is a simple piece of tanned leather on which crudely painted the eye of Gruumsh. The banner is also sporting various trophies from previous battles.
  4. These are the little standard bearers from Bones 3 Ogre Command set. I had considered adding bloody little handprints to the banner and then backed off because I wasn't sure. I think it turned out pretty well and I am really happy with their eyes! So here they are and a photo of them with the drummers because in my list 77567 says Goblin Standard Bearers and Musicians so I am guessing they are a set! C&C welcome!
  5. Presenting the Blood Secrator from Games Workshops Age of Sigmar box set. I'm not sure what a Blood Secrator does, but it involves wearing a vest made of skulls and hitting people with a nifty-looking (but undoubtedly highly impractical) quadruple headed axe. Had this guy on 'The Shelf of Shame' for awhile, it's a very nice mini (very 3 dimensional if that makes any sense) but when you have shaky hands the prospect of painting all the bits tucked behind all the other bits is pretty nerve-wrecking! Despite that I think he ended up looking pretty good. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.
  6. From one of my Friday Pathfinder games, I present Ojar. He is our cavalier, and has several children with the queen, but we refuse to call him "king" on account of how terrible a leader he has proven himself to be. He is mounted upon his noble elk steed Ozmataz and wields his legendary falchion Buckshank. He flies the flag of our kingdom Arcadia, which we have built up over the past few irl years using Kingdom building and Downtime rules. The colors and designs are by the player's request, except for the red horse armor, which I painted red because the original metallic made it all look washed out. I tried to use static grass, but I haven't figured out how to make it not look awful. This took entirely too long to finish, but life happens. Comments and criticism requested. This is a conversion piece. The horse is from Lord Vandrian (14186) with the antlers from Beastmen of the Wyld (02900). The body is the Pathfinder Iconic cavalier (60045), and the falchion is from a weapon pack, but I don't remember which because I just have a pile of weapons. On a somewhat related note, do any of you have a good way of transporting larger minis like this? It doesn't fit in my small Chessex foam-lined box, so I've been carrying it in a cardboard box with bubble wrap. I have several larger minis I regularly use in my tabletop games and would like a better solution. Thanks for looking!
  7. Hi folks! Been a loooong time since I've posted anything. Been incredibly busy with commission work. I did want to get back to posting here, and I think this is a good figure to re-start with. I was asked by a potential new client, to pick a figure and paint it and to take as long as I thought right on it. So here we have Alain the Iconic Cavalier from Reaper's Pathfinder line (in metal). I used 3 different types of NMM, 3 decals from Warhammer 40K, and went with the red and white tabard scheme. Hope you guys like him. I had fun painting him.
  8. The Command Group. Carrying the Battle Banner. Mummy Captain, Ghoul Drummer and Zombie Banner Bearer.
  9. It's finally done.My first full Freehand Banner. I'm pretty proud of it and the results. I can see where I could have done better but I'm happy where he is. I've also included the family photo of his Command Squad. C&C always welcome.
