  1. Frulla was selected as part of my "On Deck" thread. So, I've cleaned her up and primed her. Next up is basing the slate. Pic ... Stay Tuned
  2. So here are my last in a series of umpteen dwarves. This last set I think I got a little lazy with as I gave them more or less the same colors of capes, but it's kind of a blue and red color scheme I've been trying to hold on to any way. Anyway, hope you enjoy them!
  3. So finally got this done, have this wandering around on my WIP topic. Hopefully you enjoy, the base is just a very basic one, and I didn't do much more than cover it with corn meal, and then used weathered stone, with some washes, then highlighted to white. I have to say I really enjoy this figure on so many levels. I was kind of intimidated by it being large, with a victim, but once I started painting it, the detail was just so nice. One of my favorite parts is the snake that is coming out of his pinky finger and twisting through the skull on his belt buckle. I also really like the victim himself. On his scabbard he's got oddly a nice little flower on it, so he's probably a really sensitive barbarian deep at heart, or maybe a botanist barbarian, who will ever know? I did add blood to the axe coming out of that delightful decapitated head, but didn't want to do too much. I thought about adding blood to the dagger the barbarian is plunging into the demon's arm, but got to thinking. If it's not a magical blade, it very well might not even be able to hurt the demon, so he could poke at it all he wanted to with no effect. Anyhoos, hope you enjoy!
  4. Hello Gamers! I took all of the wonderful advice I received from you guys & gals from my previous post and tried to implement it into this Dwarven fighter. Please let me know what you think and how I can improve on my next mini. Thanks ahead of time. Take care.
  5. A friend gave me this figure...it looked so different from the standard dwarf figures. I painted it for my private collection. He told me it was some foreign company but had no information data on it. It was fun to paint and had great figure details.
